She was seated beside her friend Keleigh Teller, who mouthed something to her after the joke. However, it’s noticeable how cold Taylor Swift’s expression was. It wasn’t the joke that trended, instead, it was Swift’s unimpressed reaction to the supposed joke.
It was off-sounding, not just to Taylor but probably to most audiences at the Golden Globes and viewers. Sure, it was a joke, but, it wouldn’t hurt to be sensitive to what is being said. In a TIME interview with Taylor Swift, she addressed the attention she’s getting at the NFL. “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads,” Swift answered.
