BTS Enlistment Dates + New Solo Schedules this 2023

BTS Possible Enlistment dates + Solo schedules

Is anyone curious about the BTS enlistment dates and solo schedules? In ARMYs’ most recent happening, we’re sending off another member in the military. Joining J-Hope and Jin into the army, SUGA sets to render his mandatory military service. And we know why you’re here, and with that,  let’s look at the possible enlistment dates of BTS and their schedules before they enlist.

In a surprising announcement on October 17, 2022, Big Hit Entertainment, the label of the popular K-pop group BTS, released a statement via the fan platform Weverse and BTS’ official social media platforms. It explained that the group is committed to fulfilling their military service obligations.

BTS Enlistment Dates

Are you ready, ARMYs? We all know that another member of BTS will soon be leaving for military service, and as dedicated fans, we should prepare ourselves for this send-off. Not having all seven members together will be challenging, but let’s not lose hope. Remember, it’s just a temporary goodbye, and our OT7 will return in a few years.

In October last year, BIGHIT announced that BTS would reunite as a group in 2025 once all the members had completed their service commitments. So, let’s determine the possible BTS enlistment dates based on their expected return in 2025.

Members Birthday Possible BTS Enlistment Dates
Kim Seokjin December 4, 1992 December 2022 [Currently]
Min Yoongi March 9, 1993 September 2023 [Currently]
Jung Hoseok February 18, 1994 April 2023 [Currently]
Kim Namjoon September 12, 1994 [Military Enlistment Process]
Park Jimin October 13, 1995 [Military Enlistment Process]
Kim Taehyung December 30, 1995 [Military Enlistment Process]
Jeon Jungkook September 1, 1997 [Military Enlistment Process]

In the latest announcement from BIGHIT MUSIC, SUGA’s enlistment date has been released. The BTS rapper would be the third member to enlist in the military starting September 22, 2023. The management adds that there would be no official events when Yoongi enters the camp.

SUGA just wrapped up his solo activities with his Final Concert at the KSPO Dome last August. A day after, BIGHIT MUSIC announced on Weverse that SUGA initiated the military enlistment process.

  • On the other hand, RM initially planned to enlist alongside J-Hope this April. However, in BTS SUGA’s D-DAY Encore Concert on Sunday, he performed and told the fans that it might be his last stage performance for now. Namjoon already has his buzz cut, but he assured fans that there’s no enlistment news for him anytime soon.
  • As for the maknae line, V recently dropped his solo album, Layover. He made history for bagging a double million seller K-pop soloist.
  • We also eagerly await any news on Jungkook’s solo album. Jungkook just dropped his debut single, Seven (feat Latto). We also can’t wait for new music, AKA an album coming from BTS’ golden maknae!
  • Earlier this year, Jimin just recently released a solo album, “FACE.” Let’s continue supporting all the members as they pursue their passions before reuniting as OT7.

If we base BTS enlistment dates on when the members can still enlist before 30 years old, here’s how it goes. SUGA at the end of this year, RM can enlist by 2024, V and Jimin should enlist by 2025, and Jungkook by 2027.

If the seven-member boy group aims to return in 2025, we could probably see all of them enlist this year until early next year. That might be heartbreaking for ARMYs, but BTS would come back after a while before you even know it’s been a couple of years.

Upcoming BTS solo schedules

Aside from the members of BTS enlistment dates, there’s still so much to look forward to from the remaining members. While we’re eagerly waiting for BTS enlistment dates, let’s take a look at what the members have in store for us on their solo schedules.

  • SUGA, aka Agust D, has been busy dropping impressive tracks lately. He dropped his third album, “D-DAY,” last April 21. SUGA also holds his first solo tour from April until August 2023. We hope you didn’t miss his first tour!
  • RM kept us on our toes for a while with his mysterious project — a collaboration track with Colde. ‘Don’t ever say love me’ had us listening to it on repeat. Recently, RM joined fans in celebrating BTS’ 10th Anniversary FESTA @Yeouido. What could be the following news we’ll hear about RM? New music? Let’s see!
  • After his solo debut album, Jimin also wrapped up his participation in Fast X’s official soundtracks. We’re still waiting to hear if he has any more activities planned for the future! We know he’s always up to something, so let’s keep our eyes peeled for updates.

Remaining BTS members’ Solo Debut

Last June, news circulated about JJK1. Just before the month ended, ARMYs were surprised with details about Jungkook’s solo debut single release, Seven! His first solo release graced the streaming services last July 14. The Maknae’s solo album, GOLDEN, is set to arrive on  November 2023, and we can’t wait to hear more music from him!

  • After V posted a studio photo dump on Instagram in August, ARMYs gladly welcomed his solo album debut, Layover, just this September. Taehyung broke records with his five-track single album. If you haven’t heard it yet be ready to fall in love with V’s voice and talent, ARMYs!
