One Piece is a popular anime series that follows the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate with a unique ability to stretch his body like rubber after eating a cursed fruit. Along with his diverse crew, Luffy sets sail to find the Ultimate treasure, known as One Piece, and become the Pirate King.
The series is divided into several story arcs, each with its unique plot and characters. In this article, we will rank all the arcs in One Piece till Wano.

30) Long Ring Long Land arc

Episodes: 207-219
Manga Chapters: 303-321
In this arc, the pirates participate in a series of bizarre and comedic challenges on the island of Long Ring Long Land, culminating in a battle against the Foxy Pirates.
The arc is notable for its humorous tone and focuses on non-serious shonen battles, as well as the introduction of the Davy Back Fight, a game of wits and skill that becomes a recurring theme in later arcs. The arc also marks the appearance of Aokiji, one of the most powerful Admirals in the Navy.
29) Syrup Village arc

Episodes: 9-18
Manga Chapters: 22-41
In this arc, the Straw Hat Pirates arrive at a village plagued by the notorious pirate, Captain Kuro, who is also a former member of Usopp’s pirate crew. The latter must confront his past and lead the village in a battle against Captain Kuro and his crew. We also learn more about Usopp’s character and his relationship with his father.
28) Orange Town arc

Episodes: 4-8
Manga Chapters: 8-21
The Orange Town arc is the second in the One Piece series. In this arc, the Straw Hat Pirates arrive at a town ruled by tyrannical Buggy the Clown. Luffy befriends a young girl named Nami and helps the townspeople fight against Buggy and his crew. We also learn more about Nami’s backstory and her connection to dangerous Arlong.
27) Little Garden arc

Episodes: 70-77
Manga Chapters: 115-129
In this arc, the Straw Hat Pirates encounter two giant warriors, Brogy and Dorry, who have been fighting each other for a hundred years. The pirates become involved in their battle and must find a way to stop it before the island is destroyed. The arc establishes the concept of ancient weapons, which will become important later in the series.
26) Whiskey Peak arc

Episodes: 64-67
Manga Chapters: 106-114
The pirate crew arrives at an island called Whiskey Peak and is welcomed by the townspeople. However, it is soon revealed that the townspeople are actually members of the Baroque Works criminal organization, who have been ordered to kill the Straw Hats. We also learn more about the mysterious organization and its leader, Mr O.
25) Reverse Mountain arc

Episodes: 62 & 63
Manga Chapters: 101-105
In this arc, the Straw Hat Pirates must navigate the treacherous waters of Reverse Mountain to enter the Grand Line. They also encounter Laboon, a giant whale who has been waiting for his pirate friends to return for decades. The arc establishes the concept of the Grand Line and the challenges that the Straw Hats will face on their journey.
24) Romance Dawn arc

Episodes: 1-3
Manga Chapters: 1-7
The Romance Dawn arc is the first in the One Piece series, introducing us to Monkey D. Luffy and his dream of becoming the Pirate King. We see Luffy recruit his first crew member, Zoro, and face off against the pirate captain Alvida.
23) Punk Hazard arc

Manga Chapters: 654-699
In the Punk Hazard arc, the Straw Hat Pirates journey to an island that has been split in half by a powerful volcanic eruption. They face off against a mad scientist named Caesar Clown and his army of minions, as well as a mysterious samurai named Kin’emon. The arc also introduces the concept of “Smile” fruits, which have devastating effects on the island’s inhabitants.
22) Amazon Lily arc

In the Amazon Lily arc, Luffy and his crew arrive on an island inhabited solely by women known as the Kuja. Luffy gains the trust of the island’s leader, Empress Boa Hancock, and participates in a deadly tournament to save his friend. This arc also reveals crucial information about the world government and the history of the Void Century.
21) Drum Island arc

In this arc, the pirates meet a doctor named Hiriluk and his assistant, Tony Tony Chopper, who is a human-reindeer hybrid. The Straw Hats help Chopper and Hiriluk to fight against the tyrannical ruler of the island, Wapol, and his army. The arc establishes Chopper as a member of the Straw Hat crew and explores his tragic backstory.
20) Return to Sabaody arc

Manga Chapters: 598-602
After two years of being apart and intense training, the Straw Hat Pirates are finally ready to reunite and continue their epic adventure. They are eager to set sail and pick up where they left off on their journey, ready to face new challenges and make new discoveries.
19) Baratie arc

Manga Chapters: 42-68
In Baratie arc, the Straw Hat Pirates arrive at a floating restaurant called the Baratie, where Sanji works as a chef. The restaurant is targeted by the notorious pirate, Don Krieg, and his crew. Luffy and Sanji team up to defend the restaurant and defeat Don his. We also learn more about Sanji’s backstory and his dream of finding All Blue.
18) Reverie/Levely arc

Episodes: 878-889
Manga Chapters: 903-908
In the Reverie arc, various leaders from around the world gather at the Holy Land of Mariejois to discuss important matters affecting the world. Among the topics discussed is the abolition of the Seven Warlords of the Sea system and the potential threat posed by the Straw Hat Pirates. The arc also reveals some major information about the world’s history and introduces new characters who will play important roles in future events.
17) Dressrosa arc

Episodes: 629-746
Manga Chapters: 700-801
In the Dressrosa arc, the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies face off against the evil Donquixote Doflamingo and his crew in a battle to overthrow his tyrannical rule over the island. It introduces new characters such as the gladiator Kyros, the toy soldier Soldier, and the former Marine Admiral Fujitora. Further, it reveals important information about the history of the World Government and the origins of the “Will of D.”
16) Jaya arc

In the Jaya arc, the pirates arrive at the floating island of Jaya, where they encounter various pirate crews and learn about the existence of the legendary island of Skypiea. It is notable for its exploration of themes such as dreams and determination, as well as its introduction of important characters and plot points that become relevant in later arcs, including Blackbeard and the concept of the “Void Century.”
15) Thriller Bark arc

14) Post-War arc

The aftermath of the Marineford War is explored, as the world reacts to the shocking events that occurred. The Straw Hat Pirates and their allies deal with the emotional fallout of the war, and Luffy sets out to reunite the members of his crew. Additionally, the Seven Warlords of the Sea system is abolished, and a new threat emerges from the shadows.
13) Loguetown arc

Manga Chapters: 96-100
Loguetown is the eighth story arc in the One Piece series. In it, the Straw Hat Pirates arrive at the town where the infamous Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, was executed. They encounter many powerful enemies, including the Navy captain Smoker and the pirate Buggy. Luffy also learns more about his past and the meaning behind his straw hat.
12) Fish-Man Island arc

In the Fish-Man Island arc, the Straw Hat Pirates arrive at an underwater kingdom populated by fish-men and merfolk. They help the kingdom deal with a conspiracy to overthrow the royal family and confront the powerful New Fish-Man Pirates. The arc also explores the tragic history of the fish-men and their struggle for equality in a world dominated by humans.
11) Skypiea arc

The Straw Hat pirates travel to the island of Skypiea, a mystical land located above the clouds, where they become embroiled in a conflict between the native Skypieans and the cruel “god” Enel. 10) Arabasta arc

The Straw Hat Pirates arrive in the desert kingdom of Arabasta, where they get involved in a rebellion against the corrupt ruler Crocodile, who is plotting to take over the kingdom. Along the way, they meet and team with various allies, including Princess Vivi. However, the true perpetrators of the war, Mr. O and his remaining Baroque Works officer agents, stand in the way of the pirates reaching their goal.
9) Arlong Park arc

The Straw Hat Pirates arrive at Nami’s hometown, which is under the control of the fish-man pirate, Arlong Nami is forced to work for Arlong to buy back her village’s freedom. The Straw Hats team up with the villagers to defeat Arlong and his crew, and Nami officially joins the Straw Hat crew. We also learn more about Nami’s tragic past and her motivation for joining the crew.
8) Impel Down arc

Episodes: 422-425, 430-452
Manga Chapters: 525-549
Luffy infiltrates the world’s most secure prison to rescue his brother Ace, who has been sentenced to execution. He forms alliances with unlikely allies, such as former enemies and a group of escaped prisoners, and battles against the powerful jailers and their deadly traps. This arc also introduces the character of Jinbe, a powerful fish-man ally of Luffy.
7) Whole Cake Island arc

Episodes: 783-877
Manga Chapters: 825-902
In the Whole Cake Island arc, the Straw Hat Pirates infiltrate the territory of the powerful and dangerous Big Mom Pirates to rescue their friend Sanji from his arranged marriage.
They face numerous challenges, including dealing with the Big Mom family’s bizarre personalities and fighting against powerful opponents such as Charlotte Katakuri. The arc also reveals important information about the nature of Devil Fruits and their relationship with the World Government.
6) Wano Country arc

Episodes: 890-894, 897-906, 908-1028, 1031-ongoing
Manga Chapters: 909-1057
The Straw Hat Pirates travel to the isolated nation of Wano in order to ally with the Kozuki Clan and take down the tyrannical ruler Kaido. The arc features intense battles, emotional character moments, and a deep exploration of Wano’s culture and history. It also introduces powerful new allies and villains who will have a significant impact on the story going forward.
5) Zou arc

In the Zou arc, the Straw Hat Pirates arrive on the back of a giant elephant named Zunesha and encounter its inhabitants, the Minks, who are humanoid animals with the ability to use electro. The arc also reveals important information about the Poneglyphs and the Road Poneglyphs, which are necessary to find the One Piece.
4) Sabaody archipelago arc

As the Straw Hat Pirates make their way to the final island of the Grand Line’s first half, the Sabaody archipelago, they stumble upon a treacherous slave trading ring that caters to the affluent World Nobles.
In the midst of their search for a passage to the New World, Luffy and Zoro are recognized as two of the Eleven Supernovas – a group of formidable rookies with hefty bounties. The archipelago becomes embroiled in a frenzy of chaos as events unfold, presenting the Straw Hats with their most daunting task to date.
3) Water 7 arc

Episodes: 229-263
Manga Chapters: 322-374
The Water 7 is a pivotal moment in One Piece as it introduces new characters like Franky and the infamous CP9, who create a lot of trouble for the Straw Hats. The crew is threatened and there is a growing conflict and sense of uncertainty about Robin’s whereabouts.
Luffy must grapple with maintaining control over his crew. With tensions high and danger lurking around every corner, can the Straw hold together and overcome these challenges?
2) Enies Lobby arc

Episodes: 264-290, 293-302, 304-312
Manga Chapters: 375-430
In the Enies Lobby arc, the Straw Hats wage war against the World Government to rescue their friend Robin. The arc features intense battles, character development, and emotional moments. Luffy’s epic fight against Rob Lucci is considered one of the best in the series.
1) Marineford arc

In the Marineford arc, a war between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines takes place to rescue Luffy’s brother Ace from execution. The arc features major battles between powerful characters such as Whitebeard, Admirals, and Warlords of the Sea. The arc ends with a devastating outcome that shakes the foundations of the One Piece world.
