How is Oda Sensei’s Health?
Thankfully, Oda Sensei seems to be in good health. It seems that he will be undergoing routine eye surgery next week to correct Astigmatism.
- Astigmatism is a common condition where the curvature of the eye is imperfect, leading to blurry vision at both near and far distances. However, details regarding the specific nature of Oda’s eye condition are currently unknown.
He amused the fans by initially joking about undergoing eye surgery to have laser shooters implanted in his eyes. He later clarified that he actually suffers from Astigmatism, which has been causing him double vision and interfering with his work.
In what part of the Manga did Oda Leave?
- Chapter 1083 of the manga was titled “The Death of Nefertari Cobra.” In recent chapters, the Straw Hats have been venturing through Egghead Island. However, the manga’s current storyline has become even more captivating due to the numerous intriguing revelations unveiled by the mangaka.
- Over the past few chapters, we have gained extensive knowledge about the World Government, Garp, Shanks, and particularly fascinating, Imu. In the most recent chapter, Imu engages in a conversation with Nefertari Cobra, further shedding light on the enigmatic D. Clan and the significance of Nefertari Lily.
Undoubtedly, the manga has reached its peak excitement level since the Wano arc. Eiichiro Oda has been unveiling long-hidden details about the world of One Piece, which has left fans in a state of anticipation and intrigue. It is understandable that fans may feel a slight sense of frustration due to Oda leaving them with a significant cliffhanger. Nonetheless, fans express their sincere well-wishes and hope for Oda’s swift recuperation.
Can It potentially extend to more than #4 issues?
According to Eiichiro Oda, he has been dealing with Astigmatism, a condition resulting from an irregular curvature of the eye, leading to blurry vision at varying distances.
Fortunately, Astigmatism is a treatable condition, and with the medical resources available to the mangaka, it is expected that he will recover and resume his work by next month. However, it is important to note that the severity of the ailment may require a longer period of recovery.
Hopefully the surgery goes too well. Health is priority because we need the greatness of One Piece, and we need to see the ending
