One Piece Chapter 1095 Spoilers hints at the God Valley Incident and Shanks’ Celestial heritage

When hints for One Piece Chapter 1095 spoilers first surfaced, they promised something big: “important revelations.” And not just any revelations, mind you, but ones concerning the mysterious God Valley incident and the Figarland Family.

For those who might have forgotten or simply need a refresher, the God Valley incident was first mentioned in Chapter 957. We were told of the historic battle between the Rocks Pirates and the combined forces of the Roger Pirates and Marines that took place on God Valley, and how the island vanished from maps soon after.

While the answers are obviously expected to be slow, we think that OP Chapter 1095 will finally shed some light on the incident. So without further ado, here are the spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1095 and when the chapter comes out!

The chapter kicks off as Saturn tries to squash Luffy, but Franky intervenes, extending his arm to shield his captain. However, Saturn’s formidable power leaves Sanji, Bonney, Franky, and even Vegapunk immobilized, hinting at a potential Devil Fruit ability at play. Saturn seizes Bonney, and she struggles as she yells, “You killed my father!”

• The scene shifts to a flashback involving Kuma, which offers insights into the history of the Buccaneer Race. Kuma and Bonney are shown sharing a dance as Kuma tells her about Nika, the Sun God, and how much the Drums of Liberation mean to his people. Kuma tells her he wants to follow in Nika’s footsteps and free people.

OP 1095 Spoilers: Saturn’s flashback of God Valley

Saturn, in the present, unravels some unsettling truths about the Buccaneer Race. They’re known for their extraordinary strength, attributed to their Giant’s bloodline. The chapter then transports us 47 years back when Kuma was born in the Sorbet Kingdom. His family’s life took a devastating turn when the World Government discovered Kuma’s unique heritage, leading to their capture and enslavement in Marijoa.

• The chapter then shifts to a new flashback. We learn that every 3 years, the Celestial Dragons descended upon a non-Government Island for a gruesome hunting game. Slaves and native islanders were released, only to be hunted and eradicated by the Celestial Dragons, who subsequently claimed the island. In this particular year, God Valley became their chosen hunting ground.

Though the actual hunting game had yet to begin, Figarland Garling was already hailed as the expected champion. Saturn, appearing unchanged from his present self, oversaw the proceedings and we learn that an escaped Buccanneer child slave had been recaptured.

The chapter left us with a glimmer of hope as two fellow slaves, a young Ivankov and a girl named Ginny, emerged from the shadows. Ivankov asked Kuma a single question: Do you want to live?

One Piece Chapter 1095: The Mystery of God Valley

One of the most significant takeaways from this chapter was the God Valley flashback. The flashback has led people to theorize that the Celestial Dragons might have been giving slaves Devil Fruits to make them stronger for their Battle Royale.

• This would explain why Xebec raided God Valley for Devil Fruits. And it wouldn’t be entirely unrealistic to guess that Big Mom must’ve managed to snatch Kaido’s Devil Fruit before the island’s destruction. This theory also neatly ties back to the Dressrosa arc. After all, Doflamingo (a Celestial himself) did set up a tournament with a Devil Fruit as the grand prize.
