- As part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the “Naruto” franchise, the Yellow Flash of the Hidden Leaf Village emerged victorious in the global character popularity poll known as “Narutop 99.”

The poll, which took place from December 21, 2022, to January 31, garnered an impressive 4.6 million votes from devoted fans. Voters had the opportunity to cast one vote per day for their beloved character on the Narutop 99 website. Minato emerged as the winner of the poll with 792,257 votes.

Masashi Kishimoto shared his comments at seeing the character claim the top spot in all regions during the poll. He further revealed that he is currently working on the latest short manga featuring Minato.

Kishimoto revealed that he ended up with more pages than anticipated, but did not provide many details. This story will also uncover the secrets behind the Fourth Hokage’s formidable jutsu, known as the “Flying Thunder God Technique.”
Some have speculated that the manga could focus on his past, exploring the events that led him to become the hero he is known as today.
