Netflix makes sure to keep adding series that make us want to sit in front of our screens. This month there are a number of notable series that are released and a few that are set to release which are definitely on our list for the “5 best Netflix series this April 2023”.
War Sailor (April 2)

Plot: When World War 2 happens, two sailors on a Norwegian merchant ship come across hard conditions as they fight for survival against a conflict they never wished to join.
The first thing that comes to our head while talking about the show is the great performances by the cast. It is a limited series that is very beautifully divided into 3 episodes and makes you wanna finish it in a run. One thing is for sure, the series is gonna leave you with a lot of emotions after you finish it.
Beef (April 6)

Genre: Comedy drama; Psychological drama, Thriller, Tragicomedy
Director: Lee Sung Jin
Cast:Â Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, Joseph Lee, Young Mazino
Plot: A road rage incident between two strangers — a failing contractor and an unsatisfied entrepreneur — sparks a tit-for-tat relationship that brings out their darkest sides.
This dark comedy show is quite in buzz right now as it should be. Beef is based on Tragicomedy and refuses to play by the rules of any traditional TV show. It’s a must-watch on our list and has 10 episodes which believe us, you will end up finishing in a day or two. The show is really fun to watch and quite captivating.
Transatlantic (April 7)

Cast: Alexander Dreymon, Mark Rowley, Arnas Fedaravicius
Writer:Â Based on “The Flight Portfolio” by Julie Orringer
Plot: Two Americans and their allies form a scrappy rescue operation in 1940 Marseilles to help artists, writers, and other refugees fleeing Europe during WWII.
This mini-series is quite refreshing. It largely delivers on entertainment grounds and has a very smooth pacing as the series progresses. It just has 1 season with 7 episodes for now which will feel like they got over too quickly.
American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing (April 12)

Genre: Docuseries, Crime
Director:Â Floyd Russ
Plot: Archive footage, chilling reenactments, and exclusive interviews shed new light on a tragedy — and two brothers — that suspended a city in terror.
This docuseries will send a chill down your spine. It’s definitely not for faint-hearted people. The docuseries involves interviews with the survivor and the key investigation officers. This series will remind you of the absolute horror of the day from when the bombs went off till the time terrorists were finally captured.
Better Call Saul Season 6 (April 18)

Cast:Â Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks
Writer: Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould
Who doesn’t know about the famous lawyer Saul from the award-winning series Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul is a prequel and this season is the last for this series. Keep an eye on it as it is set to be released on 18th April.
