In a crossover for the ages, the NFL, ESPN, and Disney are joining hands for the Toy Story Funday Football game. The one-of-a-kind entertainment spectacle is all set to revolutionize live sports streaming with a touch of whimsical animation. Scheduled for October 1, the NFL matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Atlanta Falcons will get the Disney treatment, complete with Toy Story characters and settings. Let’s take a look at NFL, ESPN, and Disney’s Toy Story Falcons-Jaguars game and find out how and when to watch it.
Toy Story-themed NFL broadcast explained
It seems like someone at ESPN or Disney came up with the wackiest of all questions: What if the NFL met Toy Story? The idea has truly come to fruition in this new immersive American football streaming experience set in Pixar’s iconic Toy Story universe.

The campaign uses cutting-edge technology to change the way we watch NFL games and, in turn, attract younger audiences. Essentially, the NFL’s Next Gen Stats on-field tracking data and Beyond Sports will recreate every player and play within the setting of Andy’s Room.
As a result, fans will be able to watch characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear and more actively participate from the sidelines along with more non-gameplay elements. Furthermore, the entire broadcast’s graphics and scoreboards will have a Toy Story touch.

Apart from the match itself, even halftime is about to get more interesting. Keanu Reeves’ Duke Caboom from Toy Story 4 will do a daredevil motorcycle jump. The game’s announcers, Drew Carter and Booger Farland will appear as fully animated figures.
All details about the Falcons-Jaguars game
The NFL, ESPN, and Disney have selected the upcoming game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Atlanta Falcons to implement their Toy Story broadcast idea. This is part of the NFL’s annual series of international games.

This year, the event takes place at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium and has an early start time of 9:30 AM ET to cater to fans on both sides of the Atlantic. More than the actual game, its Pixar digital transformation will grab a lot of eyeballs.
Bear in mind that the main game will also be telecast without the Toy Story option. The Disney-based broadcast will have a delay of approximately 30 seconds to accommodate the animations.
When and how to watch it
Toy Story Funday Football kicks off at 9:30 AM ET on October 1, with a kick-off time of 9:30 AM ET. The game will be exclusively available for streaming on Disney+, ESPN+, and NFL+, making it accessible to subscribers of these platforms.

Even if you miss the live broadcast, Disney+ will offer a replay shortly after the game concludes, but for a limited time only. Fans from 95 countries can watch the game live or enjoy the replay to experience the Toy Story collab.
This unique experience attempts to recreate how Disney previously offered a Marvel-themed NBA game or the upcoming Nickelodeon-themed outing of the Super Bowl in February.
