When it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh!, most duelists want to fulfill the dream of winning the game with Exodia the Forbidden One. Ever since Yugi summoned it to win the game instantly, the flavor and excitement surrounding has always been appealing. In most versions of the trading card game, it was difficult to do because of restrictions or bans. With Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, it’s now a possibility once more.
Obtaining Exodia
There are two ways to obtain the Exodia the Forbidden One card. The first is through opening The Great Olds secret packs where there is a chance to pull the card along with the Exodia parts. The second is the far better option, as you can craft the cards using the in-game crafting currency.

The Exodia the Forbidden One card is an SR, and you’ll need 30 SR currency to unlock it. Doing so will only require dismantling a few cards or getting rewards from the duel pass. The arms and legs are much easier to obtain, as they are only Normal rarity. You’ll need to craft the four parts:
- Left Arm of the Forbidden One
- Right Arm of the Forbidden One
- Left Leg of the Forbidden One
- Right Leg of the Forbidden One

Is Exodia Worth It?
- There is no easy answer to this question. It all depends on what goal you have in the game. If you want to pull an Exodia finish while sacrificing a few wins in the process, then it is worth it.
- If you feel like winning with Exodia justifies the cost, go head and craft. However, if you are more of a competitive player, Exodia’s success depends on the current meta.
One way for competitive players is to put Exodia as an alternate win condition. You can have a competitive deck that can win without it, but it’s still there for those sneaky combo wins. The decision is up to you.
