Wylde Flowers is the newest addition to the exclusive titles on Apple Arcade. For those unfamiliar with Apple Arcade, it is a game subscription service that gives you access to premium games on iOS. Aside from access to premium titles, subscribers can also enjoy playing without the hassle of in-app purchases and advertisements.
Wylde Flowers has players take on the role of Tara, who comes to the island of Fairhaven after spending most of her life in the city. The whole reason she moves back to Fairhaven is to take care of her grandmother. She takes on various tasks like taking care of her grandmother’s farm and fulfilling the requests of the townspeople.
Although it sounds similar to popular life sim games like Harvest Moon, Tara is a witch.
According to the game’s official website, Tara can “brew potions, control the seasons, and transform into a cat!” But aside from farming, foraging, and performing magic, Tara can also build relationships with the townspeople.

The romance aspect of the game gives players the freedom to choose from seven candidates with different gender identities. Players can also opt not to pursue romantic relationships with anyone and focus on other aspects instead like witchcraft and farming.
Another neat feature about Wylde Flowers is that it is fully voice-acted. This means every line of dialogue players hear in-game is natural and read out loud by the voice actors. This was confirmed on the game’s official website and the game developer’s TikTok account.

The game will also come to PC and consoles this 2022, though there is no official date yet for when Wylde Flowers will be available on other platforms. For now, it is available for Apple Arcade subscribers.
