Worlds Adrift is a game that remembers your story. A community-crafted MMO that let players build their own flying ships to explore a vast fantasy world of floating islands. Here’s what Andy Chalk from PC Gamer had to say about the game –
A world has shattered, leaving thousands of broken chunks of land floating in a vast sky. This is the evocative setting for Worlds Adrift, an ambitious, beautiful, and enormous multiplayer sandbox. You’ll harvest materials, build your own airship and fly freely between these islands. And on them, you’ll find ancient ruins to explore, technology to scavenge, and other players to interact with—not all of whom will be friendly.
After a number of playtests and a closed beta, Worlds Adrift is finally drifting towards Steam Early Access in May. It is an ambitions physics sandbox from the developers of Surgeon Simulator, Bossa Studios.
The game will cost ₹1623/£19.49/$24.99 once in Early Access. The game has gone through a lot of changes and modifications, thanks to a healthy and supportive community.
Bossa CEO Henrique Olifiers said the team couldn’t have envisioned the sheer amount of quality feedback they would receive from Adrift’s inspiring community. He also mentioned they feel ready to take the game to a much wider audience and work even more closely with the players to ensure they continue to learn and improve it.
Worlds Adrift drifts towards Early Access on May 17. Mark the date and get ready to fly some crazy ships in the world of Adrift.
