Players can now preorder the much awaited World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Expansion. Here are all the details you need to know before preordering the newest expansion pack for World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion is coming sometime this year
Back in April, Blizzard announced that a new expansion is coming to World of Warcraft. Called Dragonflight, the pack introduces a new race, class, dragons which players can even ride. Furthermore, Dragonflight marks the beginning of a new combination of race and class in World of Warcraft: the Dracthyr Evokers.

The expansion pack is already available for preorder right now. However, there is currently no official release date for Dragonflight. But Blizzard did promise that it will be released on or before December 31, 2022.
Similar to other expansions that came before this, there will be different editions for Dragonflight. But compared to Shadowlands, the new expansion for World of Warcraft is pricier.

Expansion versions
Here are the different editions for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight as well as their prices and inclusions.
- Base Edition ($50 USD)
- This includes the base game and a Drakkis pet
- Heroic Edition ($70 USD)
- Aside from the base game, players who avail this edition get a Level 60 character boost, the Tangled Dreamweaver mount, and the Murkstrasza pet
- Epic Edition ($90 USD)
- This edition contains a lot of perks and rewards for players who choose to get this Dragonflight pack
- Everything in the Heroic Edition
- 30 Days of Game Time
- Timewalker’s Hearthsone effect
- Diadem of the Spell-Keeper’s head-slot transmog
- Wings of Awakening back-slot transmog including five color variants (one color each for the major Dragonflights)
- This edition contains a lot of perks and rewards for players who choose to get this Dragonflight pack

For collectors, Blizzard also has something if you want a physical copy. If you purchase the physical copy of the Epic Edition, you get the following freebies:
- Everything included in the Epic Edition
- Alexstrasza mouse pad
- Five-pin Dragonflights-themed pin set
- Art of Dragonflight – Hardback Art Book
The physical Epic Edition Collector’s Set will be available for $129.99.

Dragons are the main event for World of Warcraft’s upcoming expansion
As previously revealed, Blizzard is taking things to another level in World of Warcraft as they introduce dragons to the mix. But not only that, we’ll also get a new humanoid dragon race and class, the Dracthyr Evokers.
Additionally, there will be a new zone in Dragonflight called the Dragon Isles as well as new dungeons. We can also expect some upgrades to WoW’s user interface and a new Talent system.

In other news, Wrath of the Lich King Classic will soon be releasing for players with an active World of Warcraft subscription. But the good news is it will be available at no additional cost. Wrath of the Lich King Classic releases later this year.
