True Beauty Season 2: Renewed or Cancelled?
A lot of people already believe that True Beauty is getting another season. According to a YouTube channel and TikTok user called Kdrama Flex, the hit Kdrama series will be renewed by Netflix. Moreover, they also said that production has already begun but no release date was shared by the content creator. In addition to that, everywhere you look on the internet, rumors are spreading that True Beauty season 2 is indeed already finished. However, it would be a tough pill to swallow, but Netflix hasn’t made any confirmation about True Beauty getting a season 2 yet. There is no concrete evidence nor an official announcement regarding this matter.

Despite that, a second season is highly likely due to the reason that the webtoon already concluded in March. Back in 2021, when the live-action adaptation ended, the webtoon series was still running. Hopefully, the beloved Kdrama series gets picked up for another season. Fingers crossed!
True Beauty Season 2’s Plot: The love triangle goes on but so does Jugyeong’s happily ever after
True Beauty season 1 truly ended in a happy ending. Lim Jugyeong (Moon Ga-Young) and Lee Su-ho (Cha Eun Woo) are officially in a happy relationship. Both are thriving with each other as Jugyeong is finally accepting herself, without the use of any makeup. However, the two characters’ journey still has a long way to go. Their lives after high school are pretty interesting, considering Jugyeong’s appearance and Su-Ho’s family problems. On the other hand, the fan-favorite Han Seo-jun (Hwang In-Youp), Jugyeong’s other love interest who stole the show, needs closure.
The Kdrama adaptation of the popular webtoon series True Beauty is positively received by fans. The show is also true to the novels and strictly follows the source material. Fortunately, the webtoon ends in an even better ending. If you read the webtoon, you will know that Su-Ho will propose to Jugyeong (oops, spoiler). With season 2, all of the main character’s stories would be explained a bit further.
