All aboard the Spider Train as Choo-Choo Charles takes over the indie horror video game scene by a storm. Developed and published by Two Star Games, the game has gone viral on the internet since its trailer first released in 2021. As all popular games demand the question of crossing over platforms, fans are anxious about whether the PC game Choo-Choo Charles will get its mobile version soon. Here’s what we know so far.
Choo-Choo Charles on mobile
So far, there’s no official word of confirmation from Two Star Games regarding Choo-Choo Charles getting a mobile version. Under the Two Star Games banner, Gavin Eisenbeisz developed the game on his own using Unreal Engine.
- Gavin Eisenbeisz dropped the PC game only in December 2022 and since then, fans eagerly await an official announcement for Choo-Choo Charles on mobile.
- Given that the total gameplay time is roughly just 3-5 hours, gamers believe Choo-Choo Charles would do great as a mobile game.
Knock-offs on app stores
Even without an official mobile game, Choo-Choo Charles already has a lot of rip-offs. These games are available on both the iPhone’s App Store as well as Android’s Play Store. In fact, Two Star Games tweeted about the presence of such titles on both platforms.

- A knock-off game called Space Survivor has gone so far as the Top Free Games list on the App Store. On the other hand, there is a variety of cheap copies on the Play Store that makes it impossible to keep track.
- If any game enjoys viral success, a cheap copy or knock-off is almost inevitable. Even complex games like God of War have been ripped off into ridiculous versions meant for mobile play.
- The horror-for-kids market is more susceptible to being copied than any other genres. The countless rip-offs of Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime are a great example.
Choo-Choo Charles on PC
Choo-Choo Charles is officially available for play only on Windows. The game can be bought and downloaded for $19.99 on Steam.
- The survival horror game is all about defeating Charles, a hybrid spider train that eats people. Players have to use the huge open world play area to complete tasks and collect loot.
- The loot helps you upgrade your train into a death machine to face Charles. The goal is to collect three glowing eggs which will bring out the bloodthirsty spider train.
Console release
Despite no official announcement regarding the mobile version, fans can expect Choo-Choo Charles to arrive on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S way earlier. Two Star Games has just tweeted about a possible console release for the game arriving soon.

- The original game launched in December 2022 to a mixed reception from critics but that hasn’t affected its popularity one bit. The tacky character models and the straightforward missions are overshadowed by the scary spider-train from Choo-Choo Charles.
