And as this left her boyfriend brokenhearted, the footballer reportedly had an emotional call with his girlfriend. By the looks of it, this isn’t just about the pop giant’s absence at the recent Super Bowl rematch, but it may also have something to do with the demise of a fan amid the soaring temperatures in Brazil last week.
Travis Kelce’s Alleged Emotional Call with Taylor Swift
According to Daily Mail, Travis Kelce was spotted alone in his car on the night of the Super Bowl rematch trying to console Taylor Swift on the phone. At the time, allegedly, the hitmaker had just left the stage at Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio, and they spent about 30 minutes talking.
The 34-year-old was said to have appeared sad and disappointed that their supposed reunion didn’t happen. But when he managed to talk to his girlfriend, he was once again all smiles.

Taylor originally planned to fly back to the U.S. to be with Travis and watch his game during The Eras Tour break in Brazil. However, the unexpected happened, and she had to reschedule one of her shows from November 18 to November 20, the same day as Travis’ game night, due to the high temperatures.

Taylor Swift saw the need to cancel one of her The Eras Tour shows in Brazil amid the scorching heat in the country and the unexpected demise of a fan on Friday, November 17.
“I’m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories. “The decision has been made to postpone tonight’s show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio. The safety and well-being of my fans, fellow performers, and crew has to and always will come first.”

A fan named Ana Clara Benevides Machado suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest that eventually led to her passing. She was 23.
In a statement, Taylor said she was “overwhelmed by grief” and beyond devastated by this. During her Sunday performance, she honored Ana with the song, Bigger Than the Whole Sky.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Supposed Reunion
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s supposed reunion on Monday should have been special. Aside from the Kelce family’s all-out support for Travis and his brother, Jason, Taylor also reportedly planned to bring his mom, Andrea Swift, and dad, Scott Swift, to the event.
Just last week, Travis and Taylor spent some time with the latter’s dad when the former jetted to Argentina after starting the international leg of her The Eras Tour. The couple enjoyed a dinner with Scott after she postponed her concert due to bad weather.
Travis joined Scott inside the VIP tent to watch her show the next day. At the time, Tayor infamously changed a word in her closing song, Karma, to give a shout-out to Travis and the Chiefs, making the NFL star smile.

However, he might be too enchanted that he failed to notice Scott’s high-five, which he later addressed in his and Jason’s New Heights podcast.
“Yeah, Mr. Swift, I apologize, big guy,” he said after being teased by his brother. “Oh man, I missed that. I never miss a high five, too. It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event.”
It looks like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are over the moon of their new romance. Sure, the two stars are busy in their respective fields, but they’re putting much effort into seeing each other and spending time together, even with their families.
