The question regarding the One Punch Man Season 3 animating Studio has brewed quite a lot of heated debates in the Anime community. This is primarily regarding which studio exactly can live up to Madhouse Studio’s render of Season 1. We had already anticipated the top five studios that could take the responsibility. One of our guesses was Studio Mappa.
Studio J.C. Staff disappointed audiences with whatever low-quality crap they pulled off with the animation. Given as such, fans have known that J.C Staff won’t be reprising their failure once again in Season 3. But here’s the famous studio that may just-
Why One Punch Man Season 3 needs to be animated by a reputed animation studio

- Based on Yusuke Murata’s One Punch Man Manga which itself is based on a webcomic by the famous author ONE, the anime has become a pop-culture sensation. Ever since the release of Season 1, people have been totally baffled by the story. Saitama’s “over-the-top one punch is all it takes” gimmick has bought the heart of many into check.
Accompanying a very well-built narrative of the story is the efforts of Mad House studios. The studio pulled off an extravagant display, as made evident through their animation of the Boros vs Saitama fight.

There are a lot of reasons why One Punch Man Season 3 animation has to live up to the expectations. But before that, you would probably like to be reminded which studio exactly is bearing the weight of animating Yusuke Murata’s fabulous work.

Yep, it’s been reported by a trusted Twitter leaker and reporter, @shonenleaks that MAPPA will be taking over the weight as the animating One Punch Man Season 3 studio. But so far, it is only a leak. And the golden rule of taking all leaks is with a grain of salt.
Why One Punch Man Season 3 Studio deserves to be Mappa

- Firstly, there are crucial scenes in the upcoming unadapted manga chapters that must be given justice. The Monster Association arc is one such story arc that demands justice. The Monster Ass. arc is the finale of the Saga itself (Arcs are part of story sagas). Named Human Monster – the Saga focused on the human monster Garou.
- Garou was the most prominent final antagonist of One Punch Man Manga. He has already been introduced in Season 2 as a side antagonist.

-
- Season 2 is still building up the Monster King Yorochi who will take the helm before Garou transcends beyond his human measure.Â
Only Mappa can take on the weight of the Manga’s Artwork
- Secondly, the author of the manga is a phenomenal artist. As such his illustrations are usually breathtaking. Living up to such an artist’s work requires a dedicated, well-funded, and well-directed team of animators. J.C Staff may have had their share of problems when the weight of such an epic anime was given to them. They managed with whatever life was hanging on to them.
- Thirdly, it is notable that Mappa has been recently taking on major anime series. It mainly began with Attack on Titan. Now they have also scheduled to do Vinland Saga Season 2 animation. As such, it seems Mappa is the de-facto go-to studio for big anime series that needs a second season and such.
