TikTok celebrity influencer Dylan Mulvaney recently became the spokesperson of Bud Light, receiving a package of beer featuring her face in celebration of ‘365 Days of Girlhood.’ The company received backlash from conservationists for spreading gender propaganda. Meanwhile, netizens urged to boycott Trans activists who previously received a PR package for the female hygiene company, Tampax.
The backlash continued with renewed interest after Oli London shared a few tweets with Dylan Mulvaney’s hashtag prompting the companies to sponsor “real women.” Following this, netizens urged people to boycott the brands that Mulvaney is linked with as an ambassador, including Bud Light, Walmart, and KitchenAid.
They specifically expressed their distaste for Tampax, which had previously faced backlash for its tweet, “You’re in their DMs. We’re in them. We are not the same,’ featuring Trans celebrities including Mulvaney. Conservatives believe female hygiene products shouldn’t be sold by a Trans woman.”

Netizens are continuing their boycott of companies represented by Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Bud Light recently collaborated with the TikToker and released a video featuring Mulvaney drinking Bud Light in a bathtub.
The Trans activist also sat with President Joe Biden to discuss issues faced by the transgender community and the ban on Gender-Affirming care. She was also interviewed by actress Drew Barrymore who knelt and hugged Mulvaney in solidarity, which provoked a backlash.
At this point, conservative netizens are criticizing everyone and boycotting every brand that is connected with Dylan Mulvaney.
Boycott these companies for paying this guy, Dylan Mulvaney, to mock women:
Dylan Mulvaney is now getting paid $10000+ to be the face of brands including: BudLight, Tampax, Kate Spade, Kitchen Aid, Plaza Hotel, Stella McCartney , Crest; at the very least, write to them!— Valari (@ValariY020580) April 3, 2023
Tampax is specifically the center of this controversy as netizens are questioning if Trans women can represent CIS women. They talked about how Mulvaney’s lifestyle often shared through his notable work Days Of Girlhood with one billion views, doesn’t qualify him for this position.
Netizens blame the companies Rent The Runaway, Bud Light, Walmart, Ole Henrikson, Kitchen Aid, Aritzia, Mac, Native, and Tampax for being anti-woman. Furthermore, they urge companies to use CIS women as sponsors for their products.
Some also suggested having a different range of products for Trans men to cater to their needs instead of just using Trans women as the face of female products.
people hate on dylan mulvaney because she's a trans woman but what you should really hate is how brands such as tampax decides to work with someone who does not need the brand's products in any way shape or form :)))

The backlash that trended on Twitter following Dylan Mulvaney’s sponsorship with Bud Light also resumed the arguments against Tampax. Netizens questioned the company’s intentions for using Trans women as a representative. A similar backlash trended on social media in November 2022 and February 2023 regarding Tampax’s PR package for Dylan Mulvaney.

Tampax sent boxes of female hygiene products to TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney in April 2022. Netizens who are argued to be Transphobe accused the company of causing a tampon shortage in the United States by providing boxes of them to someone who wouldn’t use it.
Upon receiving the backlash, Dylan defended the company through a video on her TikTok. She shared a clarification stating she keeps the received package on hand in case someone would need them, reassuring people that the products aren’t going to waste. She also clarified that she isn’t working with Tampax and hasn’t earned anything for promoting female hygiene products.
“I just sometimes carry one in case anybody needs it, and that seems to have just set the world on fire in some pretty nasty ways,”
Many other creators joined the conversation to provide additional information on the connection between Trans women and tampons. According to Centennial, Trans make-up artist Corrine Ferguson shared that Trans women have carried female hygiene products forever.
She shared her experience during transactions where other Trans women suggested she carry pads or tampons. It is a nice gesture and also a way to confirm their gender identity in case someone questions it. CIS women also defended Dylan Mulvaney sharing they carry extra products as well in case someone would need them.
Tampax and Bud Light haven’t given any statements regarding the long-going backlash.
