In light of her upcoming sentence termination, TMZ asked what she would like to do, and her answer left many people surprised. She shared that she wishes to meet Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce once she returns to society. As the celebrity couple is ruling the talk of the town, it isn’t surprising that Gypsy Rose also wanted to catch the drama in action.
Additionally, this dream has a greater chance of manifesting in reality because her husband has purchased tickets for the Kansas City Chiefs game on December 31. This will be one of the first events that Gypsy Rose will attend after her prison release, and we hope she enjoys it to the fullest.
Why did Gypsy Rose Blanchard receive a ten-year sentence?
In July 2016, Gypsy Rose pleaded guilty to the second-degree m*rder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. During the investigation, it was revealed that Dee Dee fabricated all the medical reports of her daughter.
Due to this, Gypsy Rose suffered from Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome, in which the guardian exaggerates or induces ailments in the child for attention and sympathy.
Dee Dee had convinced her family, friends, and acquaintances that Gypsy Rose suffered from various ailments, including muscular dystrophy and leukemia. She also emphasized that her daughter’s terminal sickness has affected her growth and that she is similar to a seven-year-old.
She threatened Gypsy Rose to never speak during doctor’s visits or attempt to escape as none of the officials will ever believe in her story. After the repeated abuse, Gypsy Rose met her boyfriend Godejohn, who eventually st*bbed Dee Dee Blanchard upon the suggestion of her daughter.
Since then, they have separated, and Godejohn is currently serving his life sentence in prison. A family friend also shared with PEOPLE that Gypsy Rose fell in love with a man she met as a pen pal while in jail.
This peculiar case has been featured in many documentaries and interviews, including ‘Oxygen Special Gypsy Rose & Nick: A Love to Kill,’ and HBO‘s “Mommy, Dead and Dearest.” It has also inspired the Hulu series “The Act.”
It will also be featured in an upcoming docuseries, “Lifetime’s The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,” featuring exclusive interviews with Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Before that, she wishes to meet Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Let’s hope that the wish manifests.
