Fans have loved Helen George as Trixie, who has made her return on Call the Midwife Christmas special. However, The Sun claimed that the beloved star would leave at the end of the series after her on-screen husband, Matthew, would be written out.
This hints that Trixie may again be unlucky in love in the show, which also seems to translate to her real life.
George tied the knot with Oliver Boot in 2011 but divorced after three years before she joined the BBC dance competition Strictly Come Dancing in 2015. She then started dating her co-star, Jack Ashton, who played the role of Rev Tom Hereward, in 2016 after filming the series’ Christmas Special in South Africa.

They had two kids, Wren, 6, and Lark, 2. However, after seven years of togetherness, the couple surprised everyone when they announced their split.
“Some months ago, we separated. Our two beautiful girls remain the focus, and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter,” George said in a statement to The Mirror.
A source revealed that the two had drifted apart, but the decision to end their romance was amicable, and no third party was involved.
Despite the split, the former pair was committed to working together to be the best parents for their two daughters.

Helen George has not officially announced that she’s in a relationship today. But rumors have it that she’s seeing Olly Rix after she was spotted leaving his London home in November.
Allegedly, the two have been helping each other deal with their heartbreaks. Just like George, Rix called it quits with her girlfriend of seven years, the makeup artist Natasha Fagri. The two broke up the same month as George and Ashton.
A source told The Sun that Rix looked relaxed, while George seemed “a little disheveled” when she left.
“It’s been a tricky year for both Helen and Olly,” the insider revealed. “They have been spending a lot of time together on set, walking their dogs together, and chatting a lot.”
The tipster added that they both respect each other as actors and support one another. They, too, are said to be dedicated to their roles on the series.
“The changes in their relationships have caused a lot of upheaval,” the source continued.
Anyhow, a spokesperson for George cleared that she only visited Rix as a friend for a cup of tea, as all friends do, and there’s nothing more to their meeting.
