Fox brings a dating show titled Farmer Wants a Wife in 2023, featuring four gentlemen, and here’s everything you need to know about its cast and release platforms.


Love blossoms everywhere and in that sense what could be a better place than a farm to harvest it? Fox’s new series, Farmer Wants a Wife brings romance to rural towns. It is set to premiere on March 8, 2023, through the network.

This interesting format of the show began in 2001 in the UK. Later, it was adapted in 32 countries across the globe with 180 weddings and 410 children.

The US did try to bring it to mainstream television in 2008 through CW, however, it only aired for a month before getting canceled.

 


The complete cast of Farmer Wants a Wife

Fox television network is betting again on the organic romance fresh from the farms with Farmer Wants a Wife. It will feature four bachelors looking for their wives among 32 women. The show will also feature country singer Jennifer Nettles as the host. Let’s find out more about its participants.

Hunter Grayson

The first farmer in search of love is 31-year-old Hunter Grayson from Watkinsville, Georgia. He is a professional cattle and horse rancher and a graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma and Athens Technical College. He is also in a band called Hunter Grayson & The Hat Creek Band. Furthermore, his hobbies include team roping, free-dive spearfishing, and singing.


Ryan Black

The next farmer joining the show Farmer Wants a Wife is a 32-year-old horse trainer and breeder Ryan Black. He is from Shelby, North Carolina, and owns a 44-acre ranch. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is passionate about training and competing horses. Aside from that, he also enjoys building and designing houses.


Landon Heaton

Landon Heaton is a 35-year-old bachelor from Alva, Oklahoma. He is a cattle rancher and farmer, and also the proud owner of a 300-acre cattle ranch, a 300-acre farmland, and a 40-acre farmhouse property. Landon is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and his favorite activities include bow hunting and training golden retrievers.


Allen Foster

Allen Foster is the fourth cattle rancher looking for a wife. He is from Williamsport, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin. Foster owns a 200-acre ranch and is an avid hunter and fisher. Additionally, his hobbies include riding horses and driving ATVs.


The four farmers who don’t get many chances to date due to their profession will try to discover love among 32 women. The latter haven’t had luck in discovering love in the city and are embarking on a journey to find romance in the rural setting.

The four bachelors will teach the participants how to tend to the farm, about hay, feed their cattle, and also oversee business operations. After six weeks of interactions, they will choose their life partner.

The host, Jennifer Nettles, expressed her excitement for the show by stating, she can’t wait to see an ‘authentic connection’ between people looking for life-long partners.


The heartwarming dating reality show, Farmer Wants a Wife, will release on March 8, 2023, on Fox network at 10 pm PT/9 pm ET/8 pm CT.

Moreover, it will also air through the network’s official YouTube channel live at the same time and on the streaming platform, Hulu.
