Since the conclusion of the Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc, thunder has been rumbling fiercely. Now that the third season of Demon Slayer is confirmed, you may be pondering, where to watch this new Demon Slayer Movie that has been roaming about. And what is it even about anyway?
- The second season of the Kimetsu No Yaiba anime adaptation, written by Koyoharu Gotouge, has been quite a wild ride. This is thanks to the impressive performance of the Flame Hashira in the Mugen Train arc and the Sound Hashira in the latest arc.
What is the New Demon Slayer movie anyways?

- It helps to clarify that the new Demon Slayer Movie is not similar to Demon Slayer Mugen Train.
Mainly because this new Demon Slayer movie is actually an amalgamation. The movie combines the last two episodes of Entertainment District Arc coupled with the premiere one-hour special episode of Demon Slayer Season 3.
What is the Demon Slayer World Tour?
Demon Slayer To The Swordsmith village movie is actually part of the Demon Slayer World Tour. Orpheum Theatre Downtown in LA premiered the Demon Slayer Season 3 movie on 18th February.
- Prior to this, the movie found its release in Japan, breaking (quite breathtakingly if I may add) records. Nearing the likes of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 and Top Gun Maverick in close range (Although did not quite beat them).
- Ever since the movie has been distributed across a variety of different theatres worldwide.
Where to Watch the new Demon Slayer Movie?

In the States
- As per Aniplex America and the studio, the latest Demon Slayer movie will be available in the United States and other nations on March 3, 2023.
- This is added by the fact that the World Tour plans on distributing the movie in over 95 countries.
For this reason, you must immediately check out your local cinema booking agency. For US Viewers, one can try checking out ticketmaster. As it held the tickets for Demon Slayer Movie’s LA premiere back in February.
In India
- Although for India it is usually taken up by PVR to distribute Anime films, this time no such initiative has been done.
Indian theatres are all up and busy with premiering Suzume no Tojimari starting in April. Yet Indian viewers can check out Bookmyshow to be on the lookout.
In the UK
Meanwhile, fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland can also delight in the new film. It had released on March First (pun not intended). Head to your local theatres, asap!
What about streaming websites?

As of now, there is no confirmation as to if the new Demon Slayer move will go on to streaming sites.
- Although if it does happen, the first site to check out is Crunchyroll.
- And another option is to check out Funimation’s official STREAMING website, although it is not available for all countries.
But should you even bother?

One might be ferally jumping into war trenches to fight for tickets for Demon Slayer To The Swordsmith Village. But as we see it, it might not even be worth it. Firstly you are better off watching season 2 as a whole.
And besides, the movie is only a recap of previous seasons coupled with the first one-hour episode of Season 3. With that, you can just wait for a month and a half more and check Demon Slayer Season 3 out altogether. The movie is totally skippable, given that it isn’t even a proper movie-like Mugen Train. Take it more of a special episode project.
