When Will Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 End?

Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 2 took the game by storm. A lot of positive things happened during their most recent season. Ahead of the alleged release of Chapter 3, Season 3, we are now left with the question – When will Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 end?

Fortnite’s Chapter 3 (Season 2) will end in a not-so-subtle event – COLLISION. The Collision event will be a one-time in-game event that will be hosted by Epic Games.

Collision Event Guidelines

It’s time to get your hands (and your team) dirty! The end of season 2 will mark the beginning of the Collision event which will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022 (4 P.M. ET/1 P.M. PDT/10 P.M CEST/ 9 P.M.  BST). To be able to join the event, you have to team up with three other players to form a 4-man squad. If you are not able to do so, the game will automatically fit you in a party to complete the squad.

In just a few hours, Fortnite will be playing a “Collision” playlist in the game, 30 minutes before the actual event. This is to notify all players to prepare for an all-out battle. In addition to that, Fortnite is advising players to record or archive their in-game experience as the event – as previously mentioned – is a one-time event only. Thus, it will not be replayable and all of it will be gone in the void forever.

Additional note: All players who log in during the event  (June 4) at 8 P.M. ET will be getting an exclusive lobby track and loading screen.

CHAPTER 3 SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE

As season 2 is already coming to an end, a third season is already peeking through the window. Although Epic Games has not officially stated an exact time and date, we are assuming that the third season could take off the following day, June 5, 2022.

To make things even better, we could potentially be seeing the debut of iconic characters like Indiana Jones and Star Wars (Sith Lord crossover plus Darth Vader as a boss).

FORTNITE IN-PERSON EVENTS COMING SOON

Part of Epic Games’ plans this year is to continue the in-person events that were halted due to the restrictions made by the pandemic. After more than 2 years, it finally comes true as Epic Games will be hosting the Fortnite Champions Series Invitational 2022. As informed by Fortnite’s developers, FNCS 2022 will be returning to the spotlight this November 12 and 13 in North Carolina, USA. If the event yields a successful outcome, we could also be seeing the continuation of the much-awaited Fortnite World Cup!
