The trio for sure has been flooding the stan K-pop Twitter ever since the release of their latest mini-album, VERSUS. We can’t help but be amazed by how they pull off such choreography for their title track, MANIAC. So, in honor of this hip choreo, let’s try to discover who did it the best!
The Viral MANIAC Hip Challenge
Since last week, November 2, VIVIZ has been making rounds all over X (formerly Twitter) because of their steps in their track, MANIAC. Honestly, the intense hip movements got us dizzy and interested in how other stars would perfectly do this one. Who Will Be Crowned The Best VIVIZ MANIAC Challenge?
So, as you know, there are only a few dance challenges of VIVIZ with the hip choreo. Nonetheless, we will try our best to rank them, including the three of them, too. So, if you’re ready to move your hips to the beats of MANIAC, let’s get it on. We think it would be fair enough to separate these choreographers and dancers into K-pop idols, so here they are!
3) Mina Myoung
If you found out about SinB from Street Woman Fighter 2 DEEP N DAP’s performance, you would love this VIVIZ MANIAC Challenge video. Mina Myoung has been one of the first to film this hip challenge with SinB. Fun fact: a few years back, SinB and Mina had a Studio Choom duo performance to the song Sweet but Psycho!

1) Kany, the choreographer
We wouldn’t forget to add the queen here on top. Kany has choreographed a lot of K-pop dances already, including SHINee’s tracks Hard and Gasoline. She even contributed some of her choreography skills to the queen, Beyoncé. Now, VIVIZ is slaying her hip choreo for their newest track, MANIAC.

2) CRAVITY Hyeongjun
No doubt, he will always slay girl group dances. CRAVITY’s Hyeongjun has been known among K-pop idols to dance these girl group choreos with so much grace. We want to see if he requested to do this one or if they asked him if he could do this. Either way, he deserves this spot (for now, since we expect to see more of VIVIZ MANIAC Challenge hip choreo!)

1) GFRIEND and soloist Yuju
Oh, bias aside, we all knew that GFRIEND and now-soloist Yuju gave us everything with this VIVIZ MANIAC Challenge. Among the other members of GFRIEND, Sowon, and Yerin, Yuju was the only one who took on the hip choreo challenge with VIVIZ. Seriously, the hip control and sharp moves? Even her clothes fit the choreo! We love this mini-GFRIEND reunion.
