Luka Doncic meme featuring Anthony Edwards breaks the internet

Another Luka Doncic meme is going viral on the internet and fans are loving it.

The Dallas Mavericks are just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals after beating the Minnesota Timberwolves in game 3, to gain a 3-0 lead in the series. But, that is not what amuses people right now.

“Hustle” in real life

The viral photo where Luka came up close to Edwards quickly flooded the internet. Dallas was already up by 9 points, 114-105, with just 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter and Luka did something bizarre. While Kyrie Irving was trying to make his freethrows, Doncic went to Edwards and appeared to be saying something.

After the game, the Slovenian superstar was asked what he told Ant-Man, but declined to reveal what it is. It must be something condescending, sarcastic, or the usual playoff trashtalk, given how frustrated Edwards looks.

It’a pretty ironic because Luka’s actions were very similar to a scene in the movie Hustle, although Anthony Edwards (playing Kermit Wilts) was on the different side of the ball. Edwards was the bully, but in game 3, he was the one bullied by an international star.

Bully Luka likes getting in his opponent’s faces

Indeed, Luka Doncic likes doing this kind of shinanigan to his opponents. Him going up close to his foes’ faces is one of the most interesting taunts in the game.

Earlier in this year’s playoffs, Luka did the same thing against James Harden and the Clippers. But, the most famous one was the infamous Luka meme featuring Devin Booker. Back in the 2022 playoffs, the Mavericks looked like their season was already over, until Luka went hot and cooked Booker and the Phoenix Suns. To add to the damage, he did one of the most memorable and iconic photos in NBA history.

Surprisingly, everytime Doncic does this tactic, it already means catastrophe for the opposing team. With a 3 to nothing advantage against Anthony Edwards and the Wolves, there’s no doubt that is going to happen again. Sadly, it’s looking like a clean sweep for Dallas.
