Recently, Riot Games did an April fool prank on the players. The devs released a video for Widejoy Mode as a prank for April 1st, 2022. Widejoy has been one of the most liked Valorant bugs so far. There are some that make the players angry but this bug made the game even more fun.
‘Widejoy’ is an old VALORANT meme. It was a bug that rendered Killjoy’s player card much wider than intended.
This is not the first time Riot Games is pranking VALORANT fans on April Fools. Only this time, the fans are demanding the Widejoy to be back in-game. So, the developer of the game decided to make a return of ‘Widejoy’ in the shooter game once again.
- To commemorate this, Riot Games is giving out free ‘Accidental Renaissance’ sprays to Valorant players over the next few days. The framed spray features Killjoy in full glory.
- Moreover, the agent is just a bit stretched, so players can enjoy Widejoy in a new style. Since it is freely available, players can obtain it without spending any money.
Here’s how you can get the new spray in Valorant:
The Accidental Renaissance Spray would be available in Valorant from April 1st, 2022, 8 AM PT to April 8th, 2022, 11:59 PT. So claim it before April 8th.
- Firstly, login into the game.
- You can see the new spray on your home screen, and claim the spray directly by clicking the equip option.
- If you don’t get the spray when you log in, then don’t worry at all you can get to the spray section in-game inventory. Click on equip to get the item.
