Valheim’s Capes are a type of armor that, aside from making you feel like superman, can also help you endure in this harsh Norse realm. Each cape in the game has its own set of benefits that will help you cope with various obstacles. Currently, there are 5 types of capes you can craft. Check out how to make them below!
Deer Hide Cape
- STATS:
- Durability: 400
- Weight: 4.0
- Upgrade: 4x (+50 durability for each upgrade)
- RECIPE:
- 4x Deer Hide
- 5x Bone Fragments
- TIPS:
- A deer must be killed to obtain Deer Hide. You can easily hunt a deer with your bow and arrows.
- Skeletons and Rancid Remains drop Bone Fragment.
Troll Hide Cape
- STATS:
- Durability: 500
- Weight: 4.0
- Upgrade: 3x (+50 durability, +1 armor for each upgrade)
- RECIPE:
- 10x Troll Hide
- 10x Bone Fragments
- TIPS:
- Troll Hide can be obtained by killing Trolls or by searching the Black Forest for chests containing Troll Hide.
Lox Cape
- STATS:
- Added protection from Freezing.
- Durability: 1200
- Weight: 4.0
- Upgrade: 2x (+50 durability for each upgrade)
- RECIPE:
- 6x Lox Pelt
- 6x Silver
- TIPS:
- Troll Hide can be obtained by killing Trolls or by searching the Black Forest for chests containing Troll Hide.
Wolf Fur Cape
- STATS:
- Frost Resistant
- Durability: 1200
- Weight: 4.0
- Upgrade: 2x (+50 durability for each upgrade)
- RECIPE:
- 6x Wolf Pelt
- 4x Silver
- 1x Wolf Trophy
- TIPS:
- To begin, players must first gather Silver. It’s hidden beneath the ground. As a result, players will require the wishbone utility item to uncover Silver’s true location.
- Domesticating wolves will provide you with Wolf Pelt and Wolf Fang.
Linen Cape
- STATS:
- Durability: 1500
- Weight: 4.0
- RECIPE:
- 20x Linen Thread
- 1x Silver
- TIPS:
- You must first fight Moder, the dragon monster boss. Beating it will allow you to obtain a Dragon Tear item, which will aid in the creation of the Artisan Table. On the Artisan Table, the Spinning Wheel should be placed.
- The Spinning Wheel can be used to convert Flax from the plain biome to linen thread.
