TwitchCon Paris 2023 took place over the weekend, bringing some exciting new features to the live streaming platform’s community. One of the most notable announcements was the introduction of the ‘Discovery Feed,’ a feature aimed at helping Twitch streamers grow their audiences and enhance their content discovery. In this article, we will explore the details of this new feature and how it can help Twitch streamers, along with some additional features announced at TwitchCon Paris 2023.
Twitch has announced their mobile discovery feed similar to TikTok

What is Discovery Feed?
Users of the Twitch app will be able to scroll through a personalized list of clips in the Discovery Feed. As soon as this feed is available, Twitch users will be able to find clips from various broadcasters’ channels, whether they are active or not.
In a blog feed posted by Twitch, they stated, “Because Twitch is all about live, interactive channels, it’s not our goal for viewers to spend hours in a Clips feed. Our investment in Clips is to help viewers discover your channel so they join you and your community when you stream.”
We believe this news might bring some positive feedback for Twitch, as the platform has been talked about for the past six months this year for all the wrong reasons.
When will Discovery Feed come to Twitch?
Twitch has announced no official date at TwitchCon 2023, although they have announced that the Discover Feed feature will be coming to Twitch by the fall. Furthermore, Twitch claims that they will be running experiments with limited versions of the Discovery Feed to improve the algorithms and the overall experience.
How will Discovery Feed help Twitch Streamers?
You’ve asked, “Why not make better use of Clips on Twitch itself?”
Enter, Discovery Feed!

The new “Discovery Feed” feature can be a game-changer for many streamers. In our opinion, we believe that this feature will help Twitch streamers to increase their reach. It will also be easier for viewers to find new streamers, enhancing content discovery on Twitch.
One of the unique aspects of the Discovery Feed is that it allows viewers to discover clips from both live and non-live channels. This means that even when a streamer is not currently streaming, their clips can still be showcased to potential viewers. It provides an opportunity for streamers to attract new followers and engage with a broader audience, even during their offline hours
