Tiger Woods Inducted Into the World Golf Hall of Fame

March 10 – Eldrick Tont Woods or most famously known as Tiger Woods had just been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Tiger Woods has been playing professional Golf since 1996 and has since won 15 Major Championships. Tiger was born and raised in California but has Native American and Asian in his blood.

The 46-year-old legendary golfer was brought to tears after his daughter’s wonderful speech about him being a great athlete, person, and father in his World Golf Hall of Fame induction.

“Being the first black and Asian golfer to win a major. Being able to win your fifth Masters after multiple back surgeries. And being able to walk just a few months after your crash.” She said “through thick and thin” their family will be a team. – His daughter Sam said in her speech

Woods was involved in a car crash last year in February. He was hospitalized and found that both of his legs got injured. His playing days were in jeopardy due to the unprecedented incident.

Sam also recalled the day she was born, the same day his father was playing in the finals at the 2007 U.S. Open. Tiger Woods lost the round by just a bit, but a miracle was about to happen to him.

“In 2007, my dad got himself in position to make an 18-foot putt to force a U.S. Open playoff, which he missed by a foot,” she recalled. “He then had to rush to the airport, flew from Pittsburgh to Orlando, and drove to the Winnie Palmer Hospital. Within five minutes of walking into the hospital room, still wearing his red golf shirt, on June 18th, I was born. He may have lost that day, but he won the greatest gift of all.”

Woods is arguably one of the greatest professional golfers of all time. Though he had some problems in the past, he’s still widely considered one of the best to hold the club.
