Personal Life
- As a 16-year-old kid, Themba Gorimbo used to illegally dig for Marange diamonds in his homeland to earn money. He mentioned that it was a risky endeavor, but he was mostly successful in search of those precious gems.
- However, one day he was caught by the police while illegally digging for diamonds and it led to something serious. Instead of an arrest, he was mangled by several police dogs, and Gorimbo was on the verge of death due to blood loss.
- Luckily, he survived the incident and went on to become a great athlete. According to Gorimbo, he got into fighting after watching the Hollywood movie Never Back Down in 2010. It took him only three years to become a professional.
- Gorimbo considers professional footballer Mane his hero for his generous charity work and modest living practices. He stated that he wants to become like his idol, aiming to give back to his people.
- Staying true to his words, he donated the $7,000 he earned by selling his fight kits from the first fight to his home village in Zimbabwe for the purpose of building a water pump.

- Before the first UFC fight of his career, Gorimbo had only $7.49 to his name in his bank account. Upon learning this, it reminded Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson of something similar where he had about the same amount in his pocket while starting his journey. That is why his company is named Seven Bucks Production.
