Until Dawn developer, Supermassive Games is coming up with its new episodic horror title The Dark Pictures Anthology. The game would come in three episodes, first being Man of Medan. In an interview, Game Director Tom Heaton confirmed there won’t be a Switch version anytime soon.
In a light-hearted conversation with WCCFTech’s Chris Wray, Tom confirmed that the team isn’t “looking at the Switch at all.” He said –
It’s the first time we’ve gone multiplatform but we’re not looking at the Switch at all. We’re concentrating on getting it as good as we can on those three platforms.
Supermassive’s earlier title Until Dawn, a BAFTA Award winner, was heartily welcomed by both critics and players. However, it was a PS4 exclusive. With The Dark Pictures Anthology, Supermassive Games is going multiplatform – PC, PS4 and Xbox One, for the first time.
Supermassive is fully focused on making the game shine on the aforementioned platforms with no signs for Switch as of now.
Man of Medan, the first entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology revolves around four friends, on a ship, ghost ship to be accurate, who run into these local fishermen, have a dispute with them and then they all get caught in a storm and end up on this ship in the middle of the Pacific.
