2023 turned out to be another chart-topping year for Taylor Swift, probably more significant than ever. The 33-year-old singer’s streaming numbers have hit an all-time high and Spotify recently crowned her the top-streamed artist of the year. Given her massive dominance across all music platforms as well as the Eras Tour’s worldwide success, fans wonder how much the artist has earned this year. Let’s take a look at Taylor Swift’s streaming revenue for the year.
Taylor Swift’s Spotify Earnings in 2023
This year alone, Taylor Swift’s songs have amassed a staggering 26.1 billion global streams with another billion expected to be added over the ongoing month of December. She edged out competition from other artists like Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Drake and Peso Pluma to take the title of the Global Top Artist in this year’s Spotify Wrapped.
As a result, the Blank Space singer has earned around $97 million in royalties just from Spotify. By the end of the year, this number would reach nearly $101 million and adding the total publishing revenue, Taylor Swift’s 2023 Spotify revenue will reach a whopping $131 million.
The artist received the news of her Spotify crowning moment with grace and expressed her thanks to Swifties around the world and called it the best birthday/holiday gift. She also spoke about the success of the Eras Tour making it an unforgettable year for her and her fans.
Streaming Revenue from Other Platforms
The pop icon’s earnings are obviously not restricted to Spotify alone. Her streaming revenue from other platforms such as Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube amount to an estimated $160 million. This shows that her decision to pull her music catalog to re-record her own Taylor’s Versions clearly worked in her favor.

The streaming revenue is just the tip of Swift’s monetary iceberg for the year. According to the Washington Post, the singer will supposedly take home over $4.1 billion from her Eras Tour concerts which is roughly 85% of the total earnings. Each tour stop earns her between $10-13 million per night.
The main reason for the singer’s ability to retain most of her earnings comes from her strategic move to take control of all her music. She signed a new contract in 2018 with Universal Music Group and Republic Records after dissociating from Scooter Braun and previous label, Big Machine Records.
