In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players can unlock some of the best in-game upgrades, additional perk slots, and even the rarest lightsaber, by solving a series of puzzles. This guide will walk you through all the necessary steps to find and complete these hidden puzzles, collect valuable treasures, and maximize your character’s potential. Let’s begin!
Accessing the Puzzle Series
To begin the puzzle series, you’ll first need to progress significantly in the main story. Ensure you have key upgrades like the Air Dash and the upgraded Ascension Cable, which are necessary for passing green force fields and reaching higher locations.
Map Upgrade Chests and Duelist Lightsaber
The first puzzle rewards you with a map upgrade and pieces of the Duelist Lightsaber. To start, you’ll need to complete a mission called “Explore the Phon’Qi Caverns.” Here’s how to access and complete the mission:
- Locate the NPC in Rambler’s Reach near Doma Dendra Shop to begin the side mission.
- Start at the Mountain Ascend Waypoint, and make your way into the Lower Valley to reach a platform by a pool of water.
- As you navigate through the caverns, stay alert and keep an eye out for enemies that you will encounter before reaching the chest.
Towards the end of the mission, you’ll find a terminal to interact with that lets you take control of a Magnaguard. Finally, interact with the terminal in the last room to upgrade BD-1’s Holo map, revealing unfound chests and upgrades on all planets.
Map Upgrade Treasures and Eno Cordova Lightsaber
This section focuses on another map upgrade, along with the Eno Cordova Lightsaber. To unlock these rewards:
- Head to the Wayfinder’s Tomb and complete the puzzles at the corresponding ruins.
- After completing the puzzles, return to the Wayfinder’s Tomb and interact with the terminal for the map upgrade, revealing unfound relics on all maps.
- Collect the Eno Cordova Lightsaber from a nearby treasure.
Jedi Temple (Koboh)
To unlock the remaining map upgrades, you’ll need to find and complete all seven Jedi Temples on Koboh. Each temple has its own unique puzzle to solve:
- First Temple: Unmissable in the main story.
- Second Temple: Located in the Untamed Downs, near Rambler’s Reach.
- Third Temple: Found at the Water Treatment Works in the Southern Reach.
- Fourth Temple: In the Basalt Rift jungle area.
- Fifth Temple: In the swamp area, close to a meditation point with intersecting zip lines.
- Sixth Temple: At the Mountain Ascent, past a green force field.
- Seventh Temple: In the Devastated Settlement, Stone Spires region.
After completing all the temples, return to the Alignment Control Center, where BD can access the final map upgrade, revealing all HP and Force Essence locations.
Map Upgrades and Flowers
There’s one more map upgrade that reveals all the flower locations on the map. To access this upgrade:
- Recruit Pili Walde, an NPC found on Jedha, Blustery Mesa to unlock the flower locations on your map.
- You’ll be tasked to find different plants and flowers on the rooftop, which will eventually unlock a terminal.
- Interact with the terminal to acquire the flower map upgrade for BD.
Bonus Tips:
- Don’t forget to keep an eye out for hidden side rooms or underwater areas while exploring the Phon’Qi Caverns, as they might contain valuable collectibles or additional lightsaber parts.
- As you progress through the game, be sure to revisit previously explored areas with your new abilities and upgraded gear. You may discover new paths, secret areas, or collectibles that were previously inaccessible.
- Remember that practice makes perfect. Some puzzles may seem challenging initially, but with persistence and strategy, you’ll overcome them and reap the rewards.
