The animated series for Star Trek called ‘Star Trek: Prodigy’ is apparently getting a video game soon. Last week, publisher Outright Games announced the news through their official Twitter account. Alongside the announcement, the game’s official title was also revealed. Read on for more details about ‘Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova.’

During the Star Trek: Mission Chicago 2022, banners about the upcoming video game were spread across the event. From that alone, fans picked up on Supernova coming to video game consoles soon.

The banners also included the official title for the animated series’ first ever video game.
When is the game coming out?
Unfortunately, the announcement did not include any other details about the upcoming video game. However, the cover art in the announcement indicates that it’s likely coming to major platforms. If you take a closer look at the game’s cover, Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova is coming to the following platforms:
- PlayStation 4
- Xbox One
- Nintendo Switch
- PC
Supernova will likely follow the animated series’ story. From the concept art, we see familiar faces like Captain Janeway. But of course, we’ll have to wait for the official release of details which are likely coming in May. For now, we’ll just have to stay tuned for future announcements from the video game’s official social media accounts.
