Synopsis
Hunt depicts fictionalized 1980s Korea facing a political apocalypse as the president of the nation is assassinated. This chaos raises the threat of a North Korean invasion, therefore the Chief of security, Park Pyong-Ho (Lee Jung-Jae), and Kim Jung-Ho (Jung Woo-Sung) must hunt the spies threatening political security.
- This film has received praise for its unpredictable plot, psychological conflicts that raise tension in the story, bloody-grotesque action sequences, and wry sense of humor. It also features two scenes paying homage to Alfonso Cuaron’s “Roma” and Ben Affleck’s “Argo” by debuting director Lee Jung-Jae.
