Solo Leveling Anime has been the hype of the year ever since news emerged of Manhwa’s Anime adaptation. And one of the obvious things that fans have haphazardly asked for is impeccable Animation quality to complement what Solo Leveling is all about. However, the recent teaser which was released by the Anime’s official studio (A-1) leaves off an inadequate impression. This made us wonder, should Ufotable have taken this project instead?
But why the Demon Slayer’s studio (namely) Ufotable?

The Demon Slayer Studio named Ufotable has made its impressionable mark upon the foundational layers of the Anime Industry. One has to naturally accredit this to their phenomenal work in the Fate series, which has been nothing less than impeccable in terms of animation quality.
- There have only been a few Animation studios that have been associated with what fans usually describe as ‘god-level’ Animation. Such a title is often given to Madhouse (for One Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter), Ufotable, and even Studio Bones (My Hero Academia).
- Ufotable in the particular, with how well made the Demon Slayer Entertainment Arc has been, has fans recognizing it as a de facto choice for them. And I mean this in the context of which studios employ the fans in a manner so that they keep craving that same Studio again and again.
Were people unpleased by the Solo Leveling Anime Teaser’s Animation Quality?

So, the premiere of the anime adaptation of Solo Leveling was initially planned for 2023 but has now been postponed until the winter of 2024.
Furthermore, there has been significant disappointment among fans of the series, with many expressing concerns about the quality of the animation after the release of the trailer. As a result, the Solo Leveling fandom has become very active on the internet.
About the Solo Leveling Anime Adaptation

It’s worth noting that Solo Leveling started as a South Korean web novel, serialized on Kakao’s digital comic and fiction platform KakaoPage in 2016, before being published in its entirety by D&C Media under the Papyrus label later that year. During Anime Expo 2022, it was announced that the novel would be adapted into an anime series.

- A-1 Pictures studio is responsible for producing the anime, and while the studio has previously delivered beloved titles, many fans remain worried. Some have even claimed that the web novel’s quality surpasses that of the teaser.
Concluding
On Twitter, one user praised the promotional video for the series but expressed disappointment in the animation quality, while another fan went as far as comparing it unfavorably to Seven Deadly Sins.
But on a personal front, The Solo Leveling Anime Teaser does not appease me as unattractive. This disappointment that most are feeling may have come from their earth-shattering expectations.
Speaking in a relatively objective manner, I do not think in the least that the Solo Leveling Anime’s Animation in the Teaser is anything inferior. Although I do see the point that it does not seem heaven-shattering. And all the fans’ expectations were anyways way high off the ground. From this, it feels viable to witness fans outraging.
