After the operation, the star is advised to complete rest due to which he wouldn’t be able to participate in the upcoming activities including FOLLOW tour in Fukuoka, Bangkok, Bulcan, and Macao.

Many of the group’s members underwent surgery or took a break in 2023 due to health issues. The group’s leader S.Coups recently got treated for Knee ligament tear. Earlier Minghao, popularly known as The 8 suffered collarbone injurgy.
The group’s mood maker Seungkwan also took a hiatus after suffering from stress while the visual king Mingyu went on a break due to lower back pain. Despite of these SEVENTEEN continued to release their extended EP FML, mini-album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN, and various solo projects throughout the year.
