The Pokemon Company confirms DLC for the 9th Generation’s Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and here’s what we know so far!
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC
Three years after introducing Generation 8 in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Pokemon comes back this year with a new game! Pokemon releases the start of Generation 9 in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in November.
Last February, Pokemon announced its release date. Moreover, a well-known Pokemon leaker named Riddler Khu goes long way back for Pokemon fans. There has been informed that he has mentioned during Arceus‘ release that was right all along.
Khu confirms a possible DLC release after the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch. Although there are no exact details yet, fans speculate the same possibility. Also, Khu made his ranking on Pokemon DLC and added Scarlet and Violet to his list.
In line with this, it may have a resemblance to Generation 8’s Pokemon Sword and Shield where its Pokedex can be expanded and new areas can be explored. However, we may want to wait for Pokemon’s official announcement, but we hope we can expect this Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC!
About Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Meet Sprigatito! This cute Pokemon is a Grass Cat-type that stands at 1’4″ and weighs 9 lbs. Its fur resembles plants which also create energy through sunlight. Also, it grooms itself which shows the ability of photosynthesis, or Overgrow. Just how cute it looks, make sure to not leave Sprigatito with no attention as it ends up sulking if you do!
Sprigatito loves attention from its Trainer, and for sure you would not be looking at other Pokemons as soon as this cutie rubs with its paws and a sweet aroma comes out. Additionally, this aroma is too therapeutic, while deadly during battles as opponents may lose their will to fight!
Secondly, we want you to meet Fuecoco! This Pokemon is a Fire Croc type. It stands at 1’4″ and weighs heavier than Sprigatito at 21.6 lbs. Well, Fuecoco loves food! And would probably do anything to be able to eat. When Fuecoco spots food, it sprints its way to it like there’s no tomorrow. Its ability is Blaze, by the way!
Fuecoco is a chill, laid-back Pokemon that just does whatever it wants, how it wants, whenever it wants. Moreover, this Pokemon is full of fire energy as when it gets excited, more fire sprouts from its head! Also, peek at the yellow square on its stomach and near the tail, that’s where Fuecoco absorbs heat. This heat transforms into fire energy inside its body!
The last company we want you to meet is Quaxly! You can have it in this Duckling Water-type Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. It stands a bit taller than the two at 1’8″ weighing 13.4 lbs. Quaxly is more of a serious-mannered Pokemon yet isn’t it too cute to resist? It is a tidy Pokemon, and it avoids getting itself dirty especially when it comes to its head, Quaxly dislikes it!
It is a duckling so surely it swims a lot and uses its strong legs to swim easily even against strong currents. Well, its strong legs have a great advantage in battles as Quaxly damages its opponents through its kicks. Also, you may see how glossy Quaxly’s body is! It comes from the gel that its feathers repel. Look at the hoodlike cap it’s wearing made of rich, moist cream. Such a cute duckling!
