Just a few hours ago, NetEase Games’ Rules of Survival announced in a Facebook post that they will be ceasing their operations.
After almost 5 years in the gaming industry, Rules of Survival is officially closing its doors to the public. The 2017 multiplayer online battle royale game is among the first games of its genre. It was released about the same time as other Battle Royale games such as PUBG (Player Unknowns’ Battlegrounds) and Fortnite.
To be honest, it was one of the best battle royale games ever released. With a fan base of more than 280 million worldwide, the game was supposed to be as big as other games similar to it. Sadly, they were not able to bounce back because of cheats, hacks, and bugs that the developers were not able to fix.
On June 27, both the PC and Mobile versions of the game will automatically shut down. It will no longer be able to provide the content everybody used to love.

WHY SHUT DOWN OF RULE OF SURVIVAL
Hello Marvin! We are also sad the RoS (Rules of Survival) is leaving the gaming landscape. Even though the game still has a lot of fans, the game was already dying. We’re hoping against hope that they’ll be back in the future 🙂
Why not sell ur game to other company so that it still be operate, rather than shutting it off..
Hello, Ross fan! Unfortunately, that is beyond our control. We can only hope a new group reboots Rules of Survival in the future, hopefully. It’s also likely it will be picked up by other developers since it still has a huge fan base.
Way back 2017 my highschool days was not complete without this game ROS, we use to play it together with my friends after class, I hope this game will have a comeback.
Best game ever to play!!! Don’t know any other game like it that you can play on a phone. I just got banned for 5 days for some reason about data. Never hacked anything in my life.
This game has huge potential to evolve. Not that I have a issue with the game as it is. The ground work has been laid out just need to continue evolving the game.
