The game’s unfinished portion, Nuevo Paraiso, which is usually unavailable, has been the subject of discussion on Reddit. At the moment, we are not sure what to make of it. This is totally on Rockstar’s willingness to keep Red Dead Online running in 2022 and beyond.
According to the latest rumor expansion or an RDR1 remake, there is more flora in Nuevo Paraiso, the in-game name for Mexico. A surge of plants in the Mexico region implies that Rockstar is working on it, according to leaks on the RDR2 and Red Dead Online subreddit.
OTHER NEWS: Red Dead Redemption 3 In Development, Employee’s LinkedIn Reveals
Regardless of how fantastic it is or how much its followers adore it, Rockstar has largely abandoned RDR2 and Red Dead Online.
The latter isn’t as profitable as GTA Online, therefore there’s no motivation for them to fund it heavily. Rockstar’s primary creatives left, and since then, it’s been clear that it’s all about profit. Even with how slowly Rockstar creates games, a big expansion for RDR2 wouldn’t take years to make.
Of course, a word from Rockstar Games or a Rockstar Games employee may put an end to all the speculation. Though we don’t expect that to happen. Rockstar Games keeps a tight lid on communication, from individual developers to the corporation as a whole. We never expect them to comment on stories, rumors, leaks, or speculation.
Unfortunately, there’s no sign that Rockstar is working on an expansion for RDR2, a remake of RDR1, or a sequel.
A new project in the series will undoubtedly appear at some point in the future, but for the time being, we can consider it largely dormant as Rockstar works on other projects. Thankfully, the studio is releasing GTA V for the third generation of consoles.
