It is possible that we will see gods from less followed religions in the Record of Ragnarok. It would not be surprising if the series continued to expand its roster of gods to include those from less followed religions.

The series’ author, Shinya Umemura, is not afraid to go outside the box, so it would not be surprising if he decided to include gods from less followed religions.  Here are some of the less followed religions that could be represented in Record of Ragnarok:

  • Shinto: Shinto is the indigenous religion of Japan. It is a polytheistic religion, and it has a rich mythology. Shinto gods are often associated with nature, and they are often depicted as being very powerful.
