In the film industry, it’s not always shimmer and glitter, especially when the Razzie Awards 2024 nominations are dropped. The Golden Raspberry Awards just revealed their picks for the least favorite films (that may have failed) that hit the silver screens. If you missed their announcement, here is the complete list of the Razzie nominations for 2024, and if you’re unfamiliar with this award ceremony, then you came to the right place.
What Is The Golden Raspberry, AKA Razzie Awards 2024?
This year, Razzie Awards 2024 celebrates its 44th award ceremony, as it started in 1981 by recognizing the ‘worst’ projects. It’s a satirical award-giving body founded by publicist and copywriter John J.B Wilson. The “Golden Raspberry” is derived from the fruit, which is referred to as a sound of a fart or as it’s often used to express disapproval.

The first Razzie Awards was said to be held in Wilson’s living room and grew into an influential institution in the industry. Their picks may not fit with your preferences, but this parody ceremony of the Academy Awards surely made an impact in the industry.
