Rascal Does Not Dream of A Bunny Girl Senpai marked the beginning of a worldwide anime sensation that ranked quickly on Google’s trending list. The world had finally denominated their new-found perfect crush (along with the hero Azusagawa Sakuta) – Sakurajima Mai senpai who is also known as the Bunny Girl in Rascal Does Not Dream series.
With a heart-throbbing record-breaking sequel film that followed and adapted the 6th and 7th light novel series named Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl, we have in our arses the newest edition of the Rascal Doesn’t Dream series (Seishun Buta Yaro). – Rascal Does Not Dream of A Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2.
Rascal Does Not Dream is a series

Rascal Does Not Dream of A Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 will adapt the 8th and 9th light novels. Both are named Rascal Does Not Dream of A Sister Venturing Out and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid respectively. I know, I know, the rascals are straying out of line for a title but despite the triangularly stretched title. But the series is a worldwide hit. Such is the vigor of creator Hajime Kimoshida.
Although fans are calling it Rascal Does Not Dream of A Bunny Girl Senpai season 2, it is actually an edition to the Rascal Doesn’t Dream Series. Whether the official title will follow the light novel title or simply be known as season 2 is not confirmed. It is also

possible that this will also be a feature film entirely, as it is only confirmed to be a sequel anime project, which is kinda vague, truth be told.

What Rascal Does Not Dream of A Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 will be about
The sequel anime project (estimated to be season 2 with 13 episodes) will adapt the 8th and 9th light novels.

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out
The 8th light novel story adaptation will follow Kaede who wants to be admitted to her big brother’s school. Sakuta meanwhile isn’t sure if this is what is best for her. We already had a pretty enormous Kaede arc in the first season. That one got you too deeply involved only for that self of her to disappear, letting the original and mature Kaede take over. All this transpired in the light-novel Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Home Alone.
Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid
The 9th light novel adaptation will follow Mai Sakurajima once again. Things will change for the worse when an elementary schooler that looks exactly like Mai Senpai appears in front of Sakuta. Also appears Sakuta’s mother who has been gone ever since Kaede’s condition.
The attractive factor of the series will be Sakuta and Mai Sakurajima
Rascal in the title refers to Azusagawa Sakuta san who is also one of our protagonists. There’s a lot to be invested in Bunny girl senpai’s story and the one that really hits you is the sheer depth of the characters. There’s a certain tenacity with which author Kimoshida san has written Sakuta.
The Brilliance of Sakuta Azusagawa
For all intents are purposes, Sakuta is hardly ever afraid of death and is head-first in helping those in need. He’s the kind that cannot really get himself out once he sees someone suffering. Mind you this isn’t similar to cliche shonen protagonists where the

entire story is focused on the need to be the good and black-and-white portrayal of morality. (Imagine something akin to Deku from MHA).
- Sakuta is rather upfront and will not hesitate to tell people about their most hidden demeanor with a pale and dead-eyes face.
- Sakuta is otherwise silent but when he has to speak he speaks effortlessly without putting much concern over the emotional drawbacks of his statements.
- A no-fake-efforts-all-said-directly approach given with the selflessness in which he engages to help others may remind you of the infamously famous Hachiman Hikigaya of My Youth Romantic Comedy is As Wrong As I Expected. (Yay another on the list of weirdly stretched J-light novel titles). These traits of him also make Mai senpai (Bunny-girl) fall in love with him.

The depth of Mai Sakurajima
Mai Sakurajima has countenances that resemble what a love child of Kurisu Makise and Yukino Yukinoshita would look like. She’s smart, elegant, and mature. She is also a cutie when she has to be. You love her for the first season but then you see the film and you know that she is indeed one of the finest written Rom-Com female protagonists ever. Mai Sakurajima is so much more than a pretty model face.

The Aniplex Fest did not confirm Rascal Does Not Dream of A Bunny Girl Senpai’s season 2 release date. Puberty Syndrome is a supernatural and mystical occurrence that cannot be defined or scientifically approached. These events will truly set the sight for Sakuta as it has always done. Although we aren’t sure of its release, what we are hella sure of is that Bunny Girl Senpai does not disappoint so long as CloverWorks return to animate the second season. (Which it freaking yes lessgo!)
