Pushpa: The Rise, a Tollywood movie has become a new sensation in the cricketing world. From Australian player David Warner to West Indies player DJ Bravo everyone is trying something from the movie.
Pushpa: The Rise is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language action drama film. In the first of two cinematic parts, the film depicts the rise of a coolie in the smuggling syndicate of red sanders, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh state.
The Rise is commercially successful, grossing 365 crores at the box office. The film emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film in 2021 and ranks among the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. Its second part titled Pushpa 2: The Rule is scheduled to commence production in April 2022.
Pushpa Craze among Indian cricketers
The craze of Pushpa among the cricketers is just to the next level. The famous dialogue “main jhukega nahi” has become a trend in reels and Instagram posts. Cricketers are also joining this trend. Indian cricket stars like Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya have also been dancing to the movie’s iconic song ‘Srivalli.’ All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has shared a selfie of himself dressed Allu Arjun’s Pushpa.

International Craze of Pushpa
Australian batsman David Warner posted a scene from the movie by swapping his face with actor Allu Arjun. Warner lavished the actor with praise and claimed that Allu Arjun makes acting look so easy.
The trend has also spread to the “Bangladesh Premier League,” where many players have recreated the “Pushpa walk” to celebrate after taking a wicket. Bangladesh cricketer Nazmul Islam began the trend in BPL. After Nazmul, West Indies and IPL star all-rounder DJ Bravo replicated Allu Arjun’s step to celebrate taking a wicket.

Former Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan became the latest player to celebrate with Pushpa style. The Tollywood industry has become the number one film industry in India. Now, the fans are eagerly waiting for the second part of the movie.
