PUBG Patch 14.1: New Features and Changes!

PUBG is one of the best and most popular Battle Royale games today and rightly so. Ever since its arrival, it has been the go-to Battle Royale game for many gamers, even when its competitors are free to play. Fans are still willing to spend money to play PUBG, rather than playing F2P battle royale games like Fortnite or Call of Duty. Well, we have some great news for the fans as it is about to receive a new update full of exciting new things.

Breakable Pots

A new concept of breakable pots will be incorporated in this update. These breakable pots will be placed all over the map and players will have to break them in order to loot various items. There is a catch though, which is, that enemies might hear the pot breaking from afar and pose threat to you. You can break the pot with a punch or melee or shoot it using any gun. They will be available in normal matches, ranked matches as well as custom matches. Following are the items that these pots will spawn once broken:

Medical Items	First Aid Kit Bandage
Boost Items	Adrenaline Syringe Painkillers Energy Drink
Throwables	Frag Grenade Smoke Grenade Stun Grenade Molotov Cocktail

Error Space

Error Space is a map exclusive feature to Taego. It allows players to gather other map-exclusive weapons and supplies to be spawned randomly within these zones. These zones are displayed on the minimap randomly and remain active till the end of the match. It is available in the Custom Match game mode where:

• You can set the number of Error Spaces.
• Also, you can set the spawning probability of Error Spaces.

Taego Updates

You must be aware that some regions in Taego have a relatively high win rate compared to others. Hence some improvements have been made for the areas with a win rate of 75% or more.

• Added cover to the mountain area north of the Palace and the river area east of the Terminal.
• Corrected the height of the cliffside terrain in the north of Buk San Sa area.
• Reorganization of the topography around the School area has also been done.
• Corrected the cliff topography of the entire coast of Redline
• Removed rocks located around the lighthouse at Blueline
• Added flat terrain curves to Magenta Zone, cover for Sky Blue Zones, and trees to the hillside.

Halloween

• Decorated School, Hospital, and the Starting island area with the Halloween concept.
• Halloween-themed weather, with unique moon color and fog in certain areas, is added.
• Care Package Smoke Color has been changed to Halloween colors.
• They have also added Mummy Coffins at School, Hospital, and the Starting Island.
• It is available in normal as well as custom matches.

Carry

• Carry feature allows you to risk it all and carry an ally to safety before they bleed out
• On a selfish note, this feature can protect you from incoming fire as they’ll act as human shields for you
• The downside is that your movement will be restricted, and you’ll only be able to hip fire while carrying them
• The carry feature is available on all maps

Map Rotation

• Normal match – Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Taego, Paramo
• Ranked Match – Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Paramo
