How many hours have you spent carrying that “pan of immortality” and shooting around random people in PUBG? Well, I guess a lot many you’ve ever met in real life.
PUBG Mobile, the mobile version of the worldwide phenomenal massive-multiplayer shooter, that spread as a wildfire has surpassed 100 Million downloads on Android and iOS combined. The handheld version achieved this mark within just 4 months(China, Japan and Korea excluded) of its release.
During its debut week, PUBG Mobile was the most-downloaded game in more than 100 countries, including India, Philippines and Indonesia. Currently, it serves 14 million daily soldiers, giving them a hard time escaping the red zone.
Vincent Wang, General Manager of PUBG MOBILE global publishing team said, “We will continue to set the bar for mobile gaming and look to deliver even more great contents to our players later this year.”
I tried PUBG Mobile both on my phone and PC and the latter felt better and more engaging. PUBG has its own charm even though it can be sluggish and quirky sometimes with all those bugs and what not.
