To those who do not know, Mommy Long Legs is the final boss in the second chapter of the indie survival horror game, Poppy Playtime. In this anxiety-inducing and heart-pounding survival game, you will meet the boss of all bosses, the mother of the Long Legs family – Mommy Long Legs. After your successful run in the early part of the game, solving puzzles after puzzles, Mommy Long Legs decides to put things in her hands and will do everything just to kill you.
Of course, you will eventually find a way to escape death and drop a reverse card on Mommy by killing her in the grinder. But, what if you choose to “not let her die”? What could possibly happen?
What Happens If You Save Mommy Long Legs from Dying in Chapter 2 (Hack)
Before you think of trying to save Mommy Long Legs, the real question is, HOW?
First, you have to think of destroying the grinder first. But, how can you do that? This is where hacks come in. One of the popular video game content creators, Banden, tried to destroy the grinder by using a hack that allows him to be omnipotent.
Although they were successful in taking out the machine, after turning it on, it still magically works. That is a real phantom grinder! Guess the machines in Playtime co. don’t need a physical vessel. Duh! Lucky for you, Mommy Long Legs still dies in the process.
What Happens If You Save Mommy Long Legs from Dying by “Not” Turning On the Grinder
Since you are already feeling merciful, why don’t we go extreme?
The same scenario goes: Mommy Long Legs chases you in the hallway towards the room where the grinder is. Then, her hands get stuck because of her momentum. But, you do not let the machine run. What happens next?
Eventually, Mommy Long Legs will escape from being stuck and where does that lead you? Yeah, right to her mouth. Game over, you’re dead!
CONCLUSION
So, can you really save her? The answer is, unfortunately, YOU CAN’T. Saving her does not yield any good. The game just won’t break. It’s either you die or Mommy dies, it’s that simple.
