Have you tried playing Pokemon GO at night? Nothing, just curious if you’ve enjoyed the nighttime with Okay, we’re excited about this upcoming event, and we hope you are too! Taking on an adventure and exploring the game is getting more and more exciting with its events. Speaking of events, another addition to the mobile AR game debuts on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022! And in case you missed the announcement, Season of Light continues with another event, Evolving Stars. Watch out for new Pokemon, and Raid encounters starting from One-Star Raids up to Mega Raids. Sweet catching up ahead, Trainers, because we’ll give you all information you’ll be needing about this event. Stay with us!

Pokemon GO: Evolving Stars event

Let’s start with the basics, the Evolving Stars event continues the Season-long Research Story starting on October 5th, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, 8:00 p.m. local time. A star of the event is coming to Trainers, and a literal start to be exact. So let’s discuss the Pokemon we’ll be encountering in Season of Light’s Evolving Stars, shall we?

Pokemon Debut Cosmog and Cosmoem and Field Research tasks

The star that we have been talking about is no other than, Cosmoem. The Psychic-type Pokemon makes its debut in the game during the Evolving Stars event. Its base form Cosmog may be evolved into Cosmoem using 25 Candies. Pretty sure you would want to evolve Cosmog to Cosmoem to have the chance to catch an additional Cosmoem when it arrives in to game sometime soon!

  • For your information, Cosmoem is vulnerable to Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokemon. It acquires around 160% damage, while it can resist Fighting and Psychic-type.

  • Also, ready yourselves to complete Field Research tasks on the given days of the event. Get the chance to earn Stardust, Evolution items, and some Mega Energy. Cheers for productivity, Trainers!

It wouldn’t be the best and perfect GO event without wild encounters and a few Evolution challenges on the side. So get to know all the Pokemon you can frequently see in the wild during the Evolving Star event!

Pokemon GO Evolving Stars event wild encounters

  • If you are persistent in Collection Challenges in the AR game, this event focuses on evolving Pokemon, so you better have those candies to bring your Pokemon to their next form! Four Collection Challenges await you and complete them to receive Evolution items.
  • By the way, check out the Evolution Cup too. Eligible Pokemon must be evolved once and can be evolved again, and must be at or below 1,500 CP to join. This is the season of evolving too, so we hope we can see a sneak peek of your Pokedex, Trainers!

Mega Pokemon encounters and Raids

New Pokemon? Check. Field Research story? Check. Wild encounters and evolution challenges? Check and check. We only have one more agenda for today, the Mega Pokemon encounters and Raids. Let’s finish this one with the game Raids, shall we?

Mega Raid Day

The featured Mega Pokemon for this month’s event, we hope you can encounter Mega Gyarados on Mega Raid Day. Get a chance to face Mega Gyarados on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The Pokemon may be frequently seen in raids.

Pokemon GO Evolving Stars mega raids

  • Of course, Raid Day bonuses are present on October 8th, here’s what you can expect:
    • Receive up to five additional Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms; and
    • Enjoy an increased chance to face Shiny Gyarados.

Mega Raids and Five-Star Raids

Aside from Pokemon GO Cosmoem and Mega Gyarados, more Pokemon are coming. Here’s the schedule and the following Pokemon you can encounter. We’re sending our good luck to the Trainers out there! There are many Pokemon to look forward to, get them!

  • For Mega Raids: Mega Lopunny started appearing on September 27th, and you still have a chance until Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time to catch it. On the other hand, Mega Manectric begins to appear on Saturday, October 8th, at 10:00 a.m. up to Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Evolving Stars event mega raids and five star raids

  • For Five-Star Raids: you may want to search for Yveltal already until Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. While Xerneas appears in raids starting on Saturday, October 8th at 10:00 a.m. until Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

One-star and Three-star Raids

Have you taken notes of the dates of the Raids happening at this Evolving Stars event? if so, the Raids that follow from here can be enjoyed during the whole event, so explore, Trainers. Go to Pokemon parks, we hope you’ll find these Pokemon too. Enjoy!

  • For One-star Raids: Get your Poke balls and Pokedex ready for a new addition to your lineup! Onix, Porygon, Scyther, Slowpoke, and Sunkern are at your service for the One-star Raids.

  • For Three-star Raids: On the other hand, we hope you can get some on the Three-star Raids too. Check out the following Pokemon to expect to encounter: Magneton, Piloswine, Rhyton, and Togetic!
