Have you caught them all, Trainers? Pokemon GO has had many surprises these past few months, specifically these BER months season. Just before September ends, an announcement about the Evolving Stars event welcomed fans for the month of October. The event features the debut of Cosmoem in the AR game, alongside Mega Gyarados Raid Day. If you’ve been an avid fan of the anime series and age over the years, you may think of when will Dratini be featured in Pokemon GO. Just in time, Pokemon GO drops its newest announcement yesterday, October 6th, and here’s what we’re talking about today.
Featuring Pokemon GO Dratini
You may think that why all of a sudden talk about Dratini? Well, the Pokemon GO Community Day Classic returns in November, and guess who’s the featured Pokemon? Yes, no other than the Dragon-type, Dratini.

- On the upcoming November 2022 Community Day Classic, Dratini, and its evolution line make their debut in the AR game. You may frequently see the Pokemon in the wild during the event day. The November Community Day happens on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- Dratini is vulnerable to Ice, Dragon, and Fairy attacks. It resists Electric, Fire, Grass, and Water-type moves. Also, its quick moves would be Dragon Breath and Itron Tail for its offense and defense, respectively. It costs 25 Candy to evolve into its second form, and a hundred to its final form, so good luck, Trainers!

- Well, of course on this day of the event, a featured attack is also present in the game. If we have Dratini as the featured Pokemon, then who has the featured attack? Evolve your Dratinis into Dragonair, then into its last form, Dragonite. Make sure to have your Dragonite during the event or up to two hours afterward — from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m — and get the Charged Attack Draco Meteor. In gyms and raids, the attack’s power reaches 150, and it’s similar to the trainer’s battles, but just an additional decrease in the user’s Attack.
- You may want to watch out for a special research story as well during Community Day. The ticket availability is yet to be announced so just stay tuned! So while we’re waiting for the arrival of Pokemon GO Dratini, we’ll discuss another October event happening.
Pokemon GO’s upcoming event
Another Pokemon makes its debut in the game starting October 14th, 2022! In a recent blog post on October 5th, Pokemon GO Live announces the event, Festival of Light. The event features the Grass- and Fairy-type Pokemon, Morelull!
- Of course, not only one, but two Pokemon happen to set a light in the game. Morelull comes with its next form, Shiinotic too! Just get 50 Morelull Candies to evolve your Pokemon into Shiinotic. Check the Illuminating Pokemon starting Friday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, October 17th, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

- This is surely an event to look at for while we’re waiting for the November coming of Dratini. Timed Research will be available throughout the event, so complete the research to get the Sparkler Pose.
- Meanwhile, make sure to use your Incense as you may encounter many Pokemon in the wild during the event days. Check out the photo below for reference!

- Additionally, watch out for the available Raids during the event. Encounter Mega Manectric on Mega Raids, and Xerneas in Five-Star Raids. One-Star and Three-Star Raids may have a few more Pokemon surprises for you. Watch out, Trainers!
