Date and Time
Niantic has confirmed that the next Spotlight Hour will be Growlithe. It will take place on March 15, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
Growlithe is a Fire-type Pokémon. It has debuted in the first generation of the Pokémon universe. Shiny Growlithe is also available in Pokémon Go. Players will be able to grab Double Catch Stardust as part of the event bonuses as well.
For one hour, Pokémon will appear more frequently, allowing you to catch as many as you can. This is a perfect opportunity to fill out their Pokedex and earn enough Candy to evolve and power up that Pokémon.
Spotlight Hour Spawn Rate & Shiny Rate
During the Spotlight Hour event, the spawn rate is boosted for 60 minutes. Using lures and Incense you can collect each species.
How to prepare for Growlithe Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go
If you are planning to take part in the Spotlight Hour event then you must prepare the following things to make sure you don’t waste time during the event:
- Firstly, make sure that you have enough Pokeballs to catch multiple Spotlight Hour Pokémon.
- Secondly, kindly check your Pokémon storage box. You must have space for all the Pokémon you will catch.
- Using a lure will increase the amount of Pokémon you encounter in the wild. So, it’s important to check the availability of lures. Its use might lead you to encounter more of the mystery Pokémon.
