Valentine’s day is just ahead of us but Niantic’s Pokemon GO already wants to spread the love. Pokemon Go‘s Valentine’s Day event will highlight the return of the cute poodle Pokemon, Furfrou as well as a new field and additional timed research tasks. The normal-type Pokemon will make its timely return while also bringing alongside a new form – The Heart Trim Furfrou. To learn how to acquire this new form, read more below.
The Heart Trim Froufrou
The Furfrou does not have any known evolutions but it has another scheme taking the place of the evolving Pokemon. This Pokemon is known to change the colors of its fur coat, depending on the form. As of now, the Furfrou has nine (9) known distinct forms commonly known as trims. To commemorate Valentine’s Day, Pokemon Go will be introducing a Heart Trim Furfrou to go along with the celebration. To transform a normal Furfrou, you just need to follow these steps. Honestly, it’s very easy! Just like other forms, to get a Hear Trim Furfrou, all you have to do is:

- Obviously, you have to catch a normal Furfrou first. According to Niantic, natural Furfrous will spawn more frequently during the Valentine’s Day event (from February 8 – 14, 2023). You can encounter this Pokemon in the wild or in one-star raids.
- Find your natural trim Furfrou in your Pokemon storage and then select the Furfrou to begin.
- After clicking, you will see the Pokemon’s profile. Tap the “FORM CHANGE” on the bottom of the page to bring up the list of available trims.
- You will see trims like Matron Trim, Dandy Trim, and many others, but for this one, we will be selecting the Heart Trim. To proceed with the process, you must prepare 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust as payment.
- And then, voila! Your Heart Trim Furfrou is now in your Pokedex!
